I am looking to get a decent rate for our May 1-May 8th trip. I want it to be a company that is right in the airport (no shuttle). Are there any great deals anyone has seen out there? Thanks!

Right now, it is too close to really seriously start looking. Major rental companies, besides Hertz is on airport. Use mousesavers for the codes and just have to keep trying. Find a rate you can live with, book it with no cancelation fees, then about two to three weeks before your trip, start checking hotwire and priceline. Use hotwire as a guage to what you should be able to bid for at priceline ( usually a couple bucks cheaper per day). The only risk you will get an offsite is with Hertz. However the last two times I have used those sites, I have gotten Avis.

But one good suggestion is try the Transportation boards. You will get lots of codes and rental ideas from there.
