Indy going down???

I'm planning a trip to DL for the first week of October. My DH and DS are HUGE Indiana Jones fans. The whole reason they want to go is to ride the Indy ride!!!! They've never been to DL. Flights are really expensive so I don't really want to pay if I know the ride will be down. If it experiences issue while we are there and closes that's one thing. But if it's scheduled to go down we won't even go. So....does anyone have any info? I keep hearing rumors but nothing official that I can find. I need to purchase tickets soon but I'm waiting on this one ride

Well darn, I guess we'll stick to WDW this year. I don't want to buy tickets and risk it. They would be CRUSHED.

It may be for the best so you can wait until the Carsland madness dies down. I suggest going during the summer (not nearly as hot and humid as WDW) so you will have peak entertainment and ride availability.

If your crew would be crushed by a refurb you may want to consider going in summer or during the holidays.
