This is probably a silly question. But, are there any hotels near WDW that have indoor pools?
Thanks-

The Embassy Suites all do.

In my experiences with Embassy Suites, the pools are indoors, but not very big, and not very exciting. In Florida, you might not find many other choices for indoors.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone else have any ideas. My daughter LOVES to swim and I would like to have a place where she could swim even if the weather is bad.
Thanks- princess:

The Orlando Marriott World Center has many pools and one of them is indoors. However, the hotel is pricey.

Courtyard by Marriott at the Marriott Village by DTD has an indoor/outdoor pool. We have used it when it was cold outside and it was great.

We've stayed at Clarion Suites Resort World (I guess they've changed their name to Celebrity Resort... their address is 2800 N Poinciana Blvd Kissimmee) three times.

Pros: The reason we chose this hotel was because they had an indoor pool. We just love being able to swim no matter what the weather. The pool area is nice with the exception of occasional smoking (see con below*) The pool was across the street from where we were staying (there rooms seem to be split up by the road) but this wasn't a big problem with us. Our son was only 7 years old so he wouldn't be going to the pool by himself anyways.

We LOVED the rooms that we have had there (and all three were the same although in different locations). I LOVED being able to throw a load of wash into the washing machine RIGHT in my room!! Once I learned about this trick, I cut down on how much we packed and just did a quick load at night. Don't get me wrong, I don't like doing laundry, but I hate dragging around a bunch of luggage and dirty clothes even more.
The kitchen had everything we would want. We never did cook there, but we did usually have breakfast there (either warmed up oatmeal or cold cereal). We usually stuck some Capri Sun drinks in the freezer at night and then brought them with us to the parks, so it was nice to have the freezer as well.
The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies such as dishes, cups, utensils, and cooking utensils. They also had a dishwasher and microwave.
The dining room table would comfortable seat 6 people. I think there was also a breakfast bar.

The living room was traditional with a tv, stereo and couch & chairs.

Off the living room was the bedroom and off the bedroom was the bath. We had a king size bed and in the bath was a Jacuzzi. We also LOVED that!!!!

The shortest time it took us from our hotel parking lot to the MK parking lot was 10 minutes. Sometimes we would get lost coming home and it took longer…. I’d say an average from the hotel to WDW was about 20 minutes.
The resort was close to a major road (can’t remember the name… but it’s major) and there was a Perkin’s (sp?) restaurant near by (although I wouldn’t walk there) Perkin’s is like a Denny’s restaurant. And up & down that major road there are TONS of restaurants!! If you have a vehicle, you won’t have a problem getting around.

Cons: One time when we stayed there they called our room every day to tell us about what was going on at the resort (i.e. breakfast at the Lucky Duck [small café... NOT a restaurant], Volleyball, kids things, etc, etc.) They usually called when we were gone for the day, so there was a message on our phone almost every time we came back. We found this very annoying, but couldn't be bothered to ask them to stop calling us. This only happened on one of the trips.

My biggest gripe with this place is the smell.

* They allowed smoking in the inside pool area because it was attached to the bar. Again this only bothered us once (our last trip there), but it was enough to make us seek a different hotel. The other two times we were there, it was not a problem, but on the last visit, apparently there were a lot of smokers. We did complain about this, but it was there policy to allow smoking in the inside swimming area (which is off of the bar area.)

Again, the last time we went, the first room they gave us smelly musty. We asked for another room and they "prepared" another room for us. You could OBVIOUSLY tell that someone had just left this room and had sprayed Frebreeze in the room to make is acceptable to us.

I vaguely remember a problem with the heater or AC… they did come and fix it, but it was a pain to have to even bother with it.

Overall, we just couldn’t believe how BIG our room was and how much came with it! But I’m not sure we’d stay there a fourth time even though the room is huge, we might opt for Embassy Suites, LBV... the musty smell needs to be taken care of & I hope they do refurbishing under the new name.
