Is it warm enough mid-November to swim in an outdoor heated pool or should I be looking for a hotel that has an indoor pool?

Have been putting a lot of effort into trying to find a fun family pool but am wondering if my efforts will be pointless.

Orlando has very, very few indoor pools - only 2 that I can remember.

If the places that have indoor pools in state like Ga - do not in Orlando.

So find a place that you like.

Some days in November will be fine for swimming - others won't be - the earlier the chances you get.

Nov/Dec are strange months (I guess you can add Jan) - one Thanksgiving it was so very cold - but the next week the temperature was back in the 80's.

I'm from Georgia, and for me, no, it is not warm enough to swim. My kids would probably do ok in the day time. I have looked for indoor pools before, and I think LewisC may have listed the complete list. We were looking for one in December and just decided to forget it. We did not miss it a bit. We stayed so busy. We did stop on the way down in Valdosta, GA and stayed in a new Country Inn and Suites that had one. It was a nice break in our drive.

There is a timeshare resort that has one, but I cannot think of the name. Maybe someone else knows.

People staying in the Marriott timeshares near the MOWC are allowed to use their facilities.

Oasis Lakes at the Fountains (RCI timeshare #4852) has an indoor/outdoor heated pool.

As long as the pool is warmly heated, you may enjoy swimming if the weather cooperates. We've always gone swimming over Thanksgiving week, when there. Some hotels do not heat their pools. All of the timeshare resorts we've visited in the area do heat at least one pool during cooler months. HTH.

I agree with previous responses. It may or may not be warm enough to swim in November. We were at Disney last Nov. and we did swim a couple of times at the outdoor heated pool. The weather was in the 80's all week. But we've also visited that time of year and had significantly cooler weather not suitable for swimming.

In general, swimming isn't high on our list of things to do when we go to Disney anyway. There is far too much else to do that we can't do on other vacations. Even when we've rented pool homes with our own private pool, we still only go in once or maybe twice during the week.
