Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update.

I've updated the first post with information about the silent auction; specifically, the type of items we'll be displaying. There will be some small and some large dollar items. I hope you all decide to participate for this wonderful cause.

Also, please let me know if you plan on attending the group dinner on Friday night, September 4th. I'll add your name to the list.

Lastly, please let me know what food items you plan on bringing to the meet. I'll mark your item next to your name on the 1st post of this thread.

We are 23 days from the meet. Hope to see you all there!

Both items sound great.

The silent auction should be a big hit. There are some nice items to bid on this year. There will not be as many items as last year; however, the quality of the items are outstanding.

Bawb (Bob Varley) worked for the DIS for several years. He was one of the original DISers and was so passionate about the boards he wanted to to play a bigger role.

It would actually be better for you to listen to the Podcast Team talk about him during the 1 year anniversary show of his passing. It pretty much explains it all.
