Of our curiosity, is anyone attending the meet planning on going on the Magic that sets sail on 10/24/09? We had a lot of Hoosiers on our sailing last fall break.

As for the cruise..We are not going, but we have Fall Break that week. Our school system (HSE) cutback our fall break from 5 to 3 days; which really makes us think twice about taking a fall break trip to Disney World. We may plan something though, just not sure what.

Either way Kim. We could always use some hot or cold side dishes. We had a really good mix of food last year. I don't know if it will work out that way this year, but we can hope.
I guess as long as we have CAKE all should be good!

Hi Everyone,

The time for the meet has been updated in the first post. It's officially from 1:00PM until 6:00PM. We can stay past 6:00PM if we'd like to mix and mingle. We have the building reserved all day.

Anyone who wishes to volunteer with setup and clean-up please let me know. We'll meet at the building by 8:00AM to start setting up for the event.

Hi Tracey,
Yes, there will be some sort of additional activities. I know of enough people who are coming for the weekend so it only makes sense to plan some other activities. I just don't have all the specifics yet. Brandie had suggested a group bowling event at a nearby bowling center. They have a nice arcade so there would be something for children; this would be on Sunday I'm also thinking about a group dinner at Dave & Busters on Friday night. Once I have the times and I speak to a couple of people I'll post the information. At that point you can just let me know what you'd like to attend and I'll update the list in the first post.

Plan on coming for an evening or two Tracey. It will be fun to see you and meet a lot of other DISers.

We could always use some hot dishes or sides. There is a Meijer and a Super Wal-Mart right next door to the meet site. You could always stop in one of those stores and pick something up before you come.

Another alternative is the Sam's Club which is fairly close to the fairgrounds. My son and I stopped off there before we arrived at last year's DIS meet.

Awesome Kim. The more help the better. I plan on being at the building around 8:00 or 8:30AM. The meet starts at 1:00PM. That should give us enough time to setup tables, chairs, decorate and get everything we need to get out for the meet.
