Is this a good idea? I think not, but my husband really wants to take them. I think the 2 year old won't sit still and the 3 year old will say it's too loud. I hope I am wrong. Can anyone with experience share? Thanks!

I haven't seen this show since my first visit to Disney. I remember being 'wowed' b/c they show you how they do some of those "tricks".
I also remember feeling the heat from the explosion of the plane. That might scare them a bit. But it depends on how your kids are. My son, when he was 2, would have been mezmerized by it. Yet, my daughter, when she was 2, probably would have clung to me a bit - b/c like you said, loud and such.

Check it out on YouTube if you want first -- it will give you an idea of the show itself so you can try and determine scariness, but it wont' of course let you hear how loud it is (I dont' remember it being any louder than other attractions at WDW).

Good luck!!

I think they will LOVE it lots of action lots to see! Bring a few snacks in for the down times when they talk with audience members. Its nice and cool in the pavilion it might be just enough of a rest your two lil ones need to keep them going! what ever you decide have fun!

We took DD2 last year to the Lights, Camera, Action Stunt Show and she did fine. Actually, she sat on my wife's lap and went to sleep for a short nap. It's pretty busy with everything going on, so I think it would keep their attention. I would do it. Worse case...they're bad and you have to get up and walk out. Not a big deal! You don't know, unless you try it out.

I have done the show with toddlers. You will know your kids best. If yours are noise sensitive, it is loud. You need to prepare them for the stunts (loud bangs, sudden drops, fire, machine guns).

I would recommend sitting at the back with young children if you are unsure if they would like it. They can see the whole stage, but are not too close to it (and therefore less frightening). Also its not too much of a distraction for other guests if you feel you need to leave the show.

Try it, your kids may like it. Its not too long - my kids sit through it.

Someone else mentioned the Lights Motors Action show - my DD loved that from an early age (just around 2) and really, really remembered it. I would say that show might be better than Indie for younger kids if you had to choose. Tip with L,M,A - get their early and get a fastpass if they are offering them. The seats are stadium style and they are tall and feel steep if you are trying to carry toddlers up there - the earlier you get there, the lower down you are likely to sit. Much better IMHO.

I agree that you only know your child best. Some kids will be fine with it others won't. Our almost 3 year old was so bored most of the time because she just didn't get it and then didn't like the explosions. We won't be doing it again for a little while.

100% agree. Also, try and sit on an aisle.

We took our son who was 4 at the time and he was a little scared of the loud sound, we moved to the very back of the stadium where he and I sat for the show, everytime it got a little loud he would hide his head on my shoulder, a cast member came over to talk to him and said if he was brave he would get something after the show. He stayed there the whole show and she brought him a certificate for bravery.

He has not stopped talking about going back to the show since we started planning our trip.

I guess my tohught would be that it would be fine.
