Indiana Jones Stunt Show should it be changed/updated?

Oh no, they are not the same ride at all. They are not even close to being the same ride. Two things that jump out at me are that at IJ at one point it appears you are going over a bridge and at one point you actually go backwards. Yes, the two ride systems are the same, but they are two completely different rides.

I agree. I think that once the Stunt Show opens WDI should definitely consider changing this to the INdy ride. Maybe not an exact copy, but at least something similiar to it. No tourist is going to want to go to two stunt shows because they think that they will be the same. Although I know they're not the same, once that new stunt show opens I hope it's good bye Indy Stunt show!

I agree. I very rarely go to the Indiana Jones show. The movie is getting old and there are so many newer things they could do. I went to the Drew Carey thing for the first time because I had time to kill. It was awful. I can't believe Disney would have an attraction like that. MGM does need some updating.

Definately change it. Our family has seen it 3 times and it was great at first, but now we just skip it. I would love to see Disney bring in the Indy ride from DL.

I didn't read the link you posted, but the film is currently in limbo. For years it has been said that the only way to new film would move forward is if Steven Spielberg, George Lucas AND Harrison Ford all had the time available and were all satsified with the script. I'm doing this from memory, but I believe that all three had agreed to a filming date, Spielberg and Ford both like the script, and Lucas put a halt to it over script issues.

So, they're right back to the drawing board. An entirely new script has been commissioned, and we're back to waiting on script approval and for all three principals to set aside the time for filming.

Even if there were a new movie, I don't know that there would be any guarantee of an upgrade to the attraction. About 6 years ago they had a fantastic opportunity to re-work Star Tours as a promotional tie-in with the new trilogy of films, and that didn't happen for whatever reason.
