Indiana Jones Epic Stunt...

Okay, I know this is a long time ago and might be hard for some people to remember but...here goes nothing.

We were at M.G.M. January 21st, I can't tell you what the show time was but we were in the Indy show in the scene where Indy goes from the one roof to the other. Well, I have seen this show a number of times but this time I noticed that Indy had slipped off the stick thingie and was hanging by one wrist. When the stick thingie came to rest on the other building his hand was slammed into the wall between the stick and the wall. Indy cursed and the rest of the show he wasn't moving it very well and there were some part where he went to do something and would pull back rapidly. I do not have the name of the man who was Indy with me right now but I was wondering if anybody had heard anything about this. I was lucky enough to be sitting in the very first row this time but I was just wondering if he was okay.

There was an accident a number of months ago but it turned out to be allright.

What kind of accident? About the time of what I am describing?

I don't know of the instance you are describing, but he was probably okay. I've been there in the middle of the show when they cancelled it and made everybody leave due to some unknown technical problem that could have caused harm to the stunt performers. They don't hesitate to cancel Indy, even in the middle, so if he was seriously injured he probably would have let them know.

There was an accident Saturday, 2/15/03, where one of the stunt actors fell from the zip cable...the part of the building fight scene where the bad guy zips down the cable from the rooftop to the ground after Indy and Marion jump down through the marketplace. He was helicoptered off to a hospital.

I have been there when they closed due to weather...they sent us back to the hotel, closed the hotel resturant and pool and that was the end of that tune! At the same time I saw him get his hand wrapped and there were alot of things that were not the same. It was still a good show but the fight scene by the air plane was almost nill, he didn't climb up on the plane and Marian did not climb into the plane, it just started to spin on its own with nobody in it or on it. There were some obvious things different he was obviously hurting. I was just wondering if anybody else had heard about it.
