Our family is looking at traveling to India in the next few years. Does anyone know if ABD is considering adding a tour of India at all? We're having no luck finding a safe, family friend tour that lasts around 10 days.

I have not seen any indications that AbD is planning an India adventure. Have you looked at Tauck's India tours?

ABD sent out a survey a few months ago with possible future itineraries and India wasn't one of them, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Abercrombie & Kent has a 13 day family trip to India. Wildland Adventures has several family trips, but the shortest is 19 days. Some other companies like Tauck and Classic Journeys have India trips, but they are not specifically "family" trips like ABD, although those companies do offer family trips to other locations.

Marking this thread! A Disney tour in India would definitely give me an excuse to ditch the IL's when we get dragged over there

Last year I took a tour of India with Easy Tours of India and it was FANTASTIC! The tour was well-organized with a high level of customer service. India is a fascinating destination.

I would be surprised if Disney organized an India tour. The country has some instability and the poverty is front and center.

There are so many options to choose from when organizing a luxury holiday in India the experience can confuse even the best organized. For this reason it is often easiest to leave the organization to an expert travel organization which will take care of every aspect of the holiday. This leaves you free to enjoy every luxury that India has to offer.
