This ad was in business week magazine. I looked everywhere regarding any restrictions and have not found any. On another site, there are tons of people that have alreayd used this discount. I will give it a shot unless I see something saying I can't.

I bought our tickets online with this discount and had no problems at all.

Remember that this is an airline that is desperately trying to survive - they'll take cash anyway that can get it. Most analysts believe that they have enough cash at this time to survive until the end of the year, but if they remain successful in their promotions, they just might make it. You can't even get a ressie on the flights we are flying now, so their planes are filling up well.

I wanted to say that my daughter and I flew Independance over the Memorial Day weekend out of Dulles. We flew on one of the 50 seat jets. (most of their flights to Florida are on their Airbus 150 passenger jets though). I have to say we had a wonderful flight, wonderful on board service, even though the flight was completely full both ways. It looks like everyone at FLYI is working so hard to keep the passengers. I really hope they make it. Last year I vowed never to drive to BWI again and FLYI is a great substitute for SW for East Coast flights.

I love FLYI. Unfortunately I am waiting for my next CC billing cycle to book october flights, and the ones I need just went up $40 per leg. I'm going to wait and see if they have a sale.

I tried booking through the website shown. If it works, the discount will not be applied until you make your final purchase, and I don't want to take that chance at the moment that it won't work. I'm now looking at over $200 per person even on IA, and that isn't acceptable to me.

I booked my October airfare last night and ended up paying $119 roundtrip from Wash./Dulles to MCO. WOW! I was excited. Here's how I did. While searching for info on FLYI I ran across a thread/different discussion board and someone mentioned that he often gets "pop ups" from Flyi offering him 20% discount. I got to thinking, I don't get popups because I have them turned off. I turned the popups on to accept them from FlyI and sure enough, while I was searching for an airfare on FlyI (I was logged in) I exited without booking and bam, I got a popup that said, "if I go back and book within 2 minutes they will take 20% off of my total..." you never seen someone move so fast (and trying not to make mistakes) to book my Oct trip. Added to that I was able to add 1 happy bag $20 coupon and my total for the 2 of us was $238. I tried to figure out how, why or when the popup comes up, but can't seem to repeat it. It seems to be random and only when you're logged in (It happened to me last week, but by the time I noticed the "1" at the bottom of my screen the 2 minutes was over.) Well needless to say, I still need to book some September fares and will again be watching for a popup. It's alot of work, but was well worth it to me, especially after yesterday's news of the airlines all increasing their fares by $20 because of the fuel. I guess all popup aren't bad.
