The cheap flights from ALB with SWA were sold out so quickly for spring break that I had to go with Independance air. Has anyone flown Independance? How was it? Would you do it again etc etc etc
Please post your opinion...so I can prepare my self :D

I'd like to know this too - I know they are having financial problems but has anyone actually flown them before? I'd like a quick review...

Keep in mind that Chap 11 does not mean they will quit flying. (They could, but they would probably try not to) Right now at least three US airlines are in Chapter 11 and they are all still out there flying.

I recently flew with them. I liked it - comfortable seats and flights usually on time. I'm flying again with them next month to Orlando.

Have used Independence on several occasions. We have found it to be as good or better than most airlines and, depending on your departure/destination point, much less expensive. No problems with delays or overbookings. Our children thoroughly enjoy the safety/seatbelt presentation and the snack selection.

Thanks for the feedback so far.. puckerup:
I read the link, and also on flyertalk they said they were able to negotiate a deal on their aircraft

We are booked to fly Independence Air next weekend. Have talked to them a few times (to confim my flights etc etc ). and their cusomer service team seems extremely competent.

I have flown Independence once and will be flying to Orlando with them on Christmas Day. Seats were comfy. Snack selection was great. They have Sun Chips (which I love) among other things. Both flights arrived early. You can check in online or at kiosks at the airport. Friendly flight attendants and captains. Hoping for a similar experience in 2 weeks!

They sound like a good airline, my friend flew them and said she had a good experience. With the reasonable airfare they seem to be a good deal. I just hope they don't go pull a Jet Blue and jack their prices up sky high!! I got a really good deal on Delta for our flight in April myself.

so far I like what I ahve heard I am planning on using them in June when I fly to knoxville tn from Boston,
