Last night I saw a television ad for the Incredibles. It said "A Disney presentation of a Pixar film". Now, unless I'm mistaken, this differs from past marketing campaigns for Pixar film which simply said "Disney and Pixar present". The new marketing seems to more clearly delineate who has done what, giving Pixar more credit for the film itself. Is this a significant strategic change, and perhaps a bit of a concession to Pixar in that Disney is not trying to take any credit for the film itself, or is this apparent change insignificant? Could Disney be trying to appease Pixar a little to aid whatever attempts might be ongoing to salvage the relationship?
