Incredibles Dance Party--help please!

For anyone who has done this, can you run through the logistics for me? KTP has it listed as from 5:00-10:00, but surely it doesn't run continuously for 5 hours? I'm assuming the characters come out for "sets" for a few songs, but how do you know when they will come out? Any help is much appreciated!!

Characters rotate through the Dance Party from the stated opening time until they take a dinner break. After the break, they return to their rotations until the Dance Party ends.

It's been reported that some guests dance with the characters for 3 hours straight until the mandatory break occurs.

We watched the dance party for about 45 minutes while waiting for the kids to ride AstroOrbiter. The characters changed, with different one joining and then leaving, but it seemed to me that the show was continuous.

It does seem to just run. . .we were there a few hours and there was music/dancing the whole time. They play fun songs and my kids loved dancing. It's kind of hard to miss if you're doing attractions in Tommowland in the evening.
