Increasing the hours... are they expecting bigger crowds?

OP Stop worrying!!! You are being way too rigid. There is no such thing as a perfect (or near perfect) plan. You are setting yourself up for major disappointment.
It is going to be moderately crowded that week. Best to prepare for that.

Yes. I, for one, am NOT happy about it. But only because it starts on our Hollywood Studios day. It's my daughters' first time going to WDW. While planning I looked at several crowd calendars, made sure we didn't go to any parks on EMH days... it was a freakin' beautiful plan. And then Disney throws a bunch of stuff in and changes the hours 30 days out... thanks for ruining my master plan, Disney!

Maybe they started listening to the people that were unhappy because they didn't add hours when they should have? There were some threads earlier on how crowded the parks were but they did not add hours like they had in past years.

Wait, I am looking at the Travel Agent calendar and it hasn't been updated since 9/15. I thought that was the first official word.
