Increased availability for ending September?

I put together a six day trip for my wife and I in late September till October 2 months ago and I’ve changed which resort we were gonna stay at a few times ended up with three nights at beach club and three nights with the theme park view of Bay Lake Tower. BLT is our home resort. When I was booking it I was looking at all different resorts and had a hard time filling in three consecutive days at popular resorts. Today I just looked up and there’s a lot of availability that has opened up since I booked it many months ago, is that normal? For instance, I can get xxxxxxxxxx - removed details…for three consecutive nights whereas when I was looking several months ago I was lucky to see one night available. Sept is slow but availability has really opened up and we are about 60 days out.

I removed specific details do what you are seeing as don’t allow that.

Yes, people have noticed that some things have opened up…it could be for a variety of reasons

DVC putting cash rooms back, owners canceling, or it could be some indication about enforcing the commercial purpose clause.

Maybe they were conservative holding back rooms for renovations and put them back into inventory, allowing members to move resorts more easily.

I have been watching for consecutive dates in October for quite some time thinking if the stars and moon aligned, we'd take a week at WDW. Yesterday, I found six days in a studio at OKW Halloween week and booked. I had a variety of points that I pulled in and bought OTU as well. We're planning 2026 and I didn't want to compromise that trip as we need a 1 BR and a studio. DVC members for 30 years, we've never stayed in a studio at OKW, though technically we have had 2 BR's so know exactly what we're getting. I figured someone else cancelled, but who knows?

was able to adjust to 4 days beach club and two at BWV with boardwalk view.

I noticed this week the March availability for PVB got significantly better for the tower.
