Incorrect Wait Times Posted!

We were there last week and had the same problems. Dave and the girls stood in the "35" minute Buzz line for over an hour.
Happened all over the park. The waits far exceeded the posted time. The only one in my favor was BTMRR where, one evening, the post time was 60 minutes (an hour before closing) and it turned out to be 9 minutes. I got off, the sign read "45", got back on and it was 5 minutes.

We saw the "white card" that was mentioned earlier in action a couple of times while waiting in line at WDW. In theory, this should provide a more accurate wait time, but in one case, the guy that they gave the white card to LINE JUMPED!!! That's right. He skipped under the chains at Peter Pan and moved ahead in line by at least 50 people. So much for accuracy.

We were just there August 13-24 and noticed the same hit-or-miss with the times. It was very difficult to judge and decide what to do based on the indiscrepancies.
We still had a good time though!

I was a white card carrier about 5 times when we went last year. When I asked about it, the CM said it was to track the amount of time I spent in line and that they use it to determine what the wait time is. The outside CM "encodes" the card with the start time and once you turn the card in to the inside CM, they "decode" the time. I only received the white cards when I was in a standby line.

Hello all
Just back from 8/21-8/26...
Now I know what the white cards are for hanging next to the CMs
My DS and I waited no more than 15 minutes for any ride in any park..but Rockin Roller Coaster 30 mins 1st day.

We were there August 20 - 25 and never waited longer than the posted wait time. In fact, the lines were almost always shorter. The one time the wait was longer than what was posted, a CM was walking up and down the line saying wait time was longer than expected. Other than that, our line waits we never more than 15 minutes, max.
