Inclement weather when on ride...

We were on SDMT today when the weather was making it's lovely change at MK this evening and we were up in the mountain part where the dwarfs were and began going up the hill there and the ride stopped all together for like 5-10 minutes. Which surprised us, but they had made the announcements of the possible shut down because of weather.

If you are on a ride, do they stop or was it just a fluke thing going on? They turned the music and sounds off also, but didn't make an announcement. We assumed it was possible weather issues.

My daughter works at Mine Train. She said it is when trains are backed up in the station. The ride is smart enough to stop until it is safe for the train to proceed. CMs don't make the announcement because an automatic announcement is usually made, sometimes it just doesn't make the announcement.
