***** inchworms!

We have an infestation of these small green caterpillers. They stripped my apple tree and weeping cherry in less than 24 hours.

being outside is miserable because if you arent walking into them hanging from the trees, youa re being pooped on. it actually sounds like it's raining..yeah, raining poop. Everything outside is a mess....so you come inside and have poop in your hair and caterpillars all over you.

this is the continuation of the winter moths....thousands of little white moths in December and january. weird.

We also have an infestation of them. You can spray your trees with an all purpose fruit tree spray. Next year before the buds open use a dorment oil spray on the trees then a fruit tree spray every 2 weeks.

It's important to rid the tree now or these inchworms can do permanent damage. Next years infestation could be worst, sometimes young trees will not make it through the winter in their weaken state.
