Incentives for referring to DVC?

have a friend interested in buying DVC to be used primarily for cruising and Europe trips. Does DVC give out any referral incentives should they buy?

DVC advertises that you can use DVC points for such vacations but it's mostly advertising. They don't offer open availability, the point requirements increases each year, it's very expensive, they charge you a $95 booking fee, no guarantee that they will allow you to use your points there in the future.

Disney discontinued the referral program but as of today if you take someone to a sales session at WDW, the will give you some fast passes.

The referral reward program was discontinued. Many states also had laws in place that made referral rewards illegal.

Because purchasing DVC in order to cruise or go to Europe would end up costing you close to double what you'd spend taking the same trips without DVC.
