Incentives for multiple small contacts vs one large

Considering 320 points at BLT, which has currently $12 off pp incentive.

Can I do two 160 point contracts and still get the $12 off pp? The 160 point contract incentive is $8pp.

you should be able to do so, yes.

you might want to split up the contracts 160+80+80 or so, actually. (some would say 50+50+60 but BLT's point costs for stays are higher so 50 pts doesn't get you far IMO - i don't know that i'd bother with a 50 pt resale for BLT - but opinions vary.)

We did it - broke it into three contracts at BLT and we've got a reservation for 10 nights in August!!!

I am too excited - after being without DVC for the past 5 years it sure it great to be a member again.

Historically buyers could break a purchase into smaller contracts. The Guides would always give a line about how they have to get special permission from their manager, but I have never heard about anyone being denied.

Just bought in on Friday with 150 pts at SSR at the 90 pt rate and broke it into 3- 50 pt contracts.

Good deal! Great thinking! I have a 160 pt deal and will look for a smaller contract as well for adding on. I have bought my points thus far through resale. My next might be through Disney direct if the 90 dollars hang around.
