Incentives and new pricing winter/spring 2025

The resort views look over the parking area, but just beyond that is Epcot. So a lot of those rooms have good views of the fireworks at night. The preferred views will look out the front of the resort towards the skyline and water.
I still like the preferred view better, but the Riviera resort view beats the resort view at a lot of other resorts.
I see, I like that either way you can't go wrong!

Yes, the resort view studios have a better view if you define that as fireworks. But, the bulk of the view is the parking lot so most of the day, it is not great.

While the PV rooms do not get the fireworks views....well, not sure if some do....they have a much better view throughout the day....its the pool, skyliner, etc.

Personally, I think the PV rooms have what I consider a much better view, especially if we are going to be haning out a lot at the resort...but we do SV because most of the time, I am in a 1 bedroom and no need to pay more....views aren't a big deal to us so I save points where I can.
I like that there are positives to both!

Yeah, there's some truth to that for sure. No doubt there are some rooms on lower floors that wouldn't have a great view. Touring Plans website can show you the view from most rooms and is pretty helpful.

Thank you 😊

We have always used our fixed weeks. As a new Poly PIT FW owner, our first year is points only and will bank those then use the following year for a week stay at SSR 2 bedroom resort view to take my grandchildren and family. Other than that, we will be back yo using those FW. I absolutely love not having to worry about booking, and my CCV FW 49 has been a great rental. I have requests for it through 2026. Looking forward to our first stay at PIT.

Not that anybody is jumping to buy direct right now 🤣, but this may be the case for us soon so I just emailed my guide and asked if the $500 D23 gold member discount is legit and exactly how the $1000 Disney Visa discount works and if there's any other deals members can get. If these two are possible this would bring us back down to the exact cost of the previous incentives. I also asked if a "Welcome Home" stay was possible for resale members purchasing direct, which may be of interest to some people! I will post what he tells me here tomorrow 😊

I'm looking at VDH....just for fun and comparisons to all of our options out there.

Do you get Magical Beginnings or whatever it's called with VDH and how exactly does that work if your UY is June?

Yes they should offer it.

For a June UY:
If you buy before the end of May you would get 2024 use year points and sell those back as the Magical Beginnings. Then you would get 2025 use year points in June 2025

If you buy after the end of May, the first points you get would be 2025 points and they would take those for Magical Beginnings. Then the next points you get to use wouldn't be until June of 2026

I've never paid much attention to direct sale....do they pretty much always have some sort of incentives going on? Could I expect similar ones this summer compared to what is offered now?

If I'm doing my math right....150 points at VDH right now would be $29,450 after MB with points being usable for trips after June 2025.

Yes for the resorts that they're currently trying to sell there are incentives and i think reasonable pricing.... right now they've been buying a bunch of AKV contracts back and there's an incentive for that resort. The price for the resorts they're not trying to sell is ridiculous... There will be new incentives when the current ones expire end of April. Whether they are better or not we shall see.... the new incentives now made then Riv contract I want the same price as the last incentives despite the price increase... I believe they weren't offering the visa discount $1000 off before and now they are

Are the discounts/incentives stackable? I’d be eligible for the developer incentives as well as the Disney Visa DVC discount? Could the Dream It Forward referral discount be stacked on top as well?

Thank you!!

I will say, after staying in a PIT standard view studio, PIT is the only resort where the theme park view, while exorbitant, is worth it. If views matter, that's a great one.

Exorbitant is right and not just in points value. I was looking up cash rates for PIT and saw Disney was charging $860 for a Standard View Studio.. and then $1360 for a Theme Park View Studio.

$500 more per night for the same room is shocking.

Yes they are stackable. Developer credit can be use in addition to d23 and disney chase visa OR referall and disney chase visa. You can't use $500 d23 discount and referall together. You will have to choose one and you can stack it with disney chase visa and developer credit

Was in a 1bdrm villa theme park view last month for a few days, and never want to stay in any other view category at the Tower. Views matter to me, and it was that good. Was at Boardwalk Villas last weekend in a 1bdrm villa resort view (not the boardwalk view) - not sure I want to go back to that resort.

Would you say the PIT theme park view is the best TP view of MK of all the MK resorts? Views matter to me too 😀
