rethink that power strip there are never enough outlets. The ones in the bathroom are low volt and will not operate that curling iron, they are for shavers only. (safety reasons)

I have two DCL corkscrews that I will bring back on board so we will be covered there. 1 bottle of local- amish wine, and maybe another if I find something in FL.

When we get to KW, those with military IDs can go to the Navy Lodge (temp quarters about 4 blocks east of Duval st.), where I think they have a Class Six and other sundries. If not there, I'm pretty sure they have NEX/el cheapo liquors on NAS Key West. Let's help out our fellow cruisers as a prelude to Operation C'MON. Translation for the rest of the "real people" out there (civilians)...RET AF Joe is buyin'!!

Kewl info on the Navy Exchange!! My dear friend the Navy Captain's wife usually sneaks me into the NEX package store. Joe, sounds like you're the man this time!

Scott, definitely bring the power strip! It sounds like there is really only one outlet with two holes in most cabins. According to the experts, there isn't one by the beds??? I guess since they don't have an alarm clock in the rooms, maybe they don't need one? I'm bringing an extension cord, and we've only got the video camera, the cell phone, and the walkie-talkies to re-charge.

Andicoco, welcome! I have a son who's 8 1/2. He'll be happy to hear of more boys.

I don't think there was an outlet by the bed. What I was remembering was the phone and buttons on the wall to turn off the lamp by the bed. I believe I might bring a power strip myself.

Okay, figured out temp job for DH. He was once head of Avionics, so now he can be in charge of repairin multiple power outtages on ship. (really big extension cord from Pt. Canaveral?)

We won't need a power strip. Only have hairdryer and battery charger for digital camera. All other stuff stays home!!!!
This is vacation afterall!

Have military dependant ID card will travel!!!!!
Plan on seein some Bunny's hoppin over to base exchange.!!

cmatt keep that cold weather out there, it's just startin to warm up again here in Jersey and this Saturday is opening day for DS. Cold weather=sore pitchin arm.

Well, off to do more laundry, those suitcases can still be closed without sittin on em.

When will it all end? Drunken sailors the lot of ya"ll. Now I'll make the trip, need to set up a pursurs office in my room but any problems getting the stuff back on board? I am game for this but do they check back on board? How about porters to carry the stuff? Wait a minute...better check on the Class VI store will be in KW on a Sunday Have to go to church, then choir practice then take up a collection from each room (may take a while) catch some sun OK, If they are open we will get over there, then a cab back. I think I've got the power problem figured out. As long as I have one outlet, I can hook up the laptop. Before we leave, I'll e-mail and PM a bunch of power to myself. Then, running off of batteries, I'll go around to everyone's room and let them download all the power they need! Problem solved!

Is it just me or is everyone starting to make less sense the closer the cruise gets....I don't know if 7 bottles of BF will be enough for everyone (are we up to 80 something)...Guess where I was today...right accross the street from Downtown Disney. I am attending a conference in one of the hotels there and will be there the rest of the week. (nice 1 hour drive for me every morning and evening). Anyway I thought that was cool....Will have to stop by there and do some shopping one day soon. Getting ready for garage sale on Sat - Sun. Trying to make some extra spending money for cruise. Seems I have less and less time these days. OMG...only 10 days left to prepare for cruise...yikes...
