I always read that people never got to meet on board, even though they talked here and planned to meet.

Is it that busy on the ship, that you not find the time to meet? First time cruiser here, so be nice.

NOPE not that lucky????? beleive it or not if it was i would still pay ...... disney was offering a deal but im not on the list.

i do work 9 to 11 days a month on 24 hour shift will work fri,sun,tues. then off for 4 days. did 5 years inmarine corps for law enforcement then this came took 3 years to make it on.
was a good job now 6yrs 2 mo. and out

anyways it all part of the job. if your number is up then its up. nothing here like in ny. okay need my pretty rest be on at work have training in knots and rope for class tommorrow

Hello to all our fellow May 11th cruisers.

Just read Joes post in other thread regarding challenges of inagural cruising and wanted to support his opinion 100%

Why look for and worry about what MIGHT go wrong, JUst enjoy and have a great time. Isnt that why we go on vacation.

Anyway, the four of us (DH42 DW 37 DD 7 and DS 5) will be easy to find. I'll be in ESPN lounge nightly enjoying the Stanley Cup playoffs in my Islanders gear.

WOW....I am getting so excited for you all.......Wouldnt ya just know it Airfare is down!! We wouldve made it Oh well. I know you will all have a blast!!

I luv Disney Cruise: I use the sea bands all the time. Last weeks cruise was the first time I didnt get sick. My dd did though and about 2 minutes after I put the bands on she was fine. For us the bands and Bonine have worked the best.

Well guys only 15 days left.......in case you werent counting the seconds. LMAO.
Let me know if there are any other Spanish phrases that you all need. I'm here to help.

Talk to you all soon. Gotta go write my review on the .....um ...(whispering) other cruise line.

I'm way ahead of ya on the dining rotation I'll ask about it tomorrow when I talk to them. As for shots....Dont even worry about it. I've been to Mexico many times with no shots and I've had no prob.

Mjasp, I had a whole suitcase just for shoes last week.......that didnt include the ones in the big suitcase either
We'll also be in Florida for Thanksgiving and were thinking about the Wonder. Maybe we'll meet up!

Well I did do you all proud this trip as I sat at 9am in Cabo Wabo and drank way too many Waboritas in honor of my DIS family.

Well, I'd better get. We're putting in our sprinkler system this weekend, as well as planting the vegetable garden. That'll teach me to get another house on such a big piece of land. LOL Have a good one everyone. I'll try to see ya all at the chat tomorrow night.

WDWGoose and MJASP: Just got finished with a "Lessons Learned" conference with those FFs and Rescue folks from NY. Pretty tough class. Forgot to mention that towel over my head?

Discruisinmommie: Would have liked to get together and had a good lunch or something. Probably would have kept me from eating dinner Thanks for all your hard work. This weekend is the packing/unpacking drill. Great job on the Waboritas

Cotomom: On the car. You need an International Drivers License NOT Permit (separate issue) with a picture available from AAA for $10.00. They take the picture I rented a car on PLAYA DEL CARMEN from National who are located at the Hotel Molcas and within walking distance from Ferry? Remember this is off the island of Cozumel! Intermediate car cost $63.64 and insurance is listed at CDW $11.00, Personnal Accident Insurance $4.00, Full coverage protection $8.00. The car is supposed to be able to handle 5 adults and 2 suitcases? At least that is what the ressie shows.

I plan on giving this out to everyone once on board so you wont have to keep your "autograph book" with you all the time. If you want the above info on a worksheet or if you would like it emailed send the above info to JDunleavy@aol.com and I will complete the list. Should get lots of email since we now have 79 adults and 33 children at least on board. That is 2.33 adults for each child, now I wonder where that "Magical" number number came from The Sureal Spa

For GC: daytime highs in the upper 80's to low 90s
For Coz: daytime highs in the upper 80's to low 90s
For CC: daytime highs in the upper 80's to low 90s
For KW: daytime highs in the upper 80's to low 90s

If its not going to any of these locations I am not interested

For All: Thanks for all the encouraging words and prayers. Dad should come home today. We still have to get permission for him to go on the cruise, but the surgeon had mentioned if there were no complications he didn't see why he couldn't go. We will find out if he goes as soon as he is released.

Goose, we got the shirts!! So cool The kids put theirs on right away. DD slept in hers! We had cub scouts last night, and DS won a cub scout shirt in the raffle, so he slept in that, otherwise I would have had two bright little light bulbs coming down the stairs this morning !!!!

Now DH's reaction was a little different. I knew I should have gotten Mr. Grumpy on his shirt . After much "oh, dad, try it on" from the kids he finally did. He says he might wear it around the pool Send some pixie dust his way. Hopefully, the cruise will mellow him out a bit!

MJASP, tell Amanda thanks for the pm. DD will probably answer tonight or tomorrow morning.

Bunnymom, we haven't forgotten Ian. It's been a massive scout week. 4 meetings in 5 days! And he's sleeping at a friends tonight, so it will probably be Sunday for a reply.

Just for the record, I now have 9 more workdays! I'm taking the 10th off to get beautiful and finish packing DH's stuff. All of ours is already in the bags!

J&J: Still no Coundown Timers . I E-Mailed Mr. J C yesterday and he wants a few hours to monitor the board to make sure there are no problems with the solution. He said he was pretty busy and thought he could get to implement it that day (yesterday), but I guess he got caught up. Hopefully we might see something today

I spoke with wdwgoose last night and it looks like we might get a couple of the shirts if any are left over. That way we won't feel out of place... er... strike that...

It sux to be me...I am working all the way up to Friday...no reason to take it off. Well, maybe a half day, then go get a manicure pedicure, then finish packing. We will see. Only 2 weeks left...We are going clothes shopping this weekend for last minute stuff. DH wants to buy a suit instead of renting one...ugh... so we are looking for that too.

Noonan85 - welcome aboard to this fun (and strange) group. There are quite a few people on this board with kids around your age (My DD is 6 1/2). I'm sure our kids will all meet up in the club. Any excursions planned???Feel free to share, or tell us to shove it LOL... Look for the group of people in the lime green and yellow shirts, and that will be us.

Goose - do those shirts glow in the dark...I swear I saw it accross the room in the pitch dark...
