Still no shore excursion info yet. I will call them today and see what they say. I will also ask about theme nights etc.

I still haven't received any excursion information either, but I have booked my excursions. You just have to call the "Special Services" number on the DCL website and they will take good care of you.

Everyone, going to start working on excorions finnally,, the only reason lucked out this early is because John Q wasnt showing at cinema 16 this after noon only 8:00 tonite,, so suday school, church dinner and now got DD to take care of cows this afternoon for me ,, so before monday starts a whole new world maybe, I can get a tenative ittenerary for off shore exc.

did you notice on my last post,, it didnt say any thing about DD much suchas scuba, snorkel, ect..

Scott H I though you had yours totaly planned ??

I thought the 7 day was going to have more rr and time then 7 day land and sea, what was i thinking?

area on either side Gulf or Atlantic side, looking for property, or maybe a condo, ocean front ,, or golf course,

Have A contractor that is one of my customers, he say his son has a business crab catching, or something,,

past gainesville he said only one small school real quiet area might talk to him more looking for winter home or retirement, love vero area though,

Cmatt, Just was at cruisecritic.com and was checking out Playa del sol prices. Seems Disneys excursion prices aren't that bad.

For admission to the park only, its $6 per person

For admission with drinks, its $25 per person

For admission with drinks and buffet, its $35 per person

Cab ride is not included with above price, Cab ride is $12

So for admission with drinks and buffet and cab it comes to $47 and Disney is charging $49 plus I'm sure u have to add tip to that cab ride. So Disney's price is not outrageous as we previously thought BUT $200 bucks to go to the beach for 4 hours is still hard to accept. They are also saying it includes all non motorized water toys, floats, pedal boats, tubes, etc...

If anyone has been at Play Del Sol and has had the drinks and buffet can you please let us know. Is it worth it?

Also Cmatt, my DD's are 10 and 6 and Dh and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary, I see you are celebrating 17 yrs. Congrats.
Still have to find out the hotel that lets you use their facilities for $5, I know its out there just have to find out who's been there, done that. When I find out I'll let you all know.

If anyone has rented a car from a location in Playa Del Carmen that does not close down at 4PM (Stupid), AND is close to the ferry dock that would be helpful. Spent all day at TAs and library looking for a map of the darn place. Unsuccessful

Has anyone made two calls to two different folks at DCL for confirmation of Formal/Semi nights and are they changing the themed nights?

Will the Animators Palate Show still be on your first night (Saturday) visit to Animators if your rotation is APLAPLA?

If your rotation puts you in Animators Palate (PALPALP) on Sunday which is normally a formal night and the Captains Welcome aboard party...will the show then be on Wed?

This should keep you folks busy for a while...I wish I had the answers.

Ok how much is Nachi-Cocom ?it fronts Casa del Mar per joeopen for everyone no price here though but is supposed to be closest to dock ????
1st listed on Joes research, i cant find any thing on it.

Playa Sol saw a deal on it, i guess a deal 19.00 pp includes all your drinks, and all facilities ?? what are the facilities besides the bathrooms ??? pool , snorkeling ??? have no idea.


Are there no public beaches on the west side ????

I dont care to eat at the beach, nor drink, i will have my own water, and soda,

cab rides as per Joes research,, 2 or 3 dollars also i read 5.00 to chankanaab,, one way i'am sure ,,

Joe we will hold the fort down, may have to deligate some of this reasponsabilty out, no lap top joe !!
