Hi Folks:wave:

All this time I was thinking warm milk was something my mother was giving me to make strong bones...now I know it was used to make brothers and sisters? :p Sometimes I have to put more stock into what mom and dad did! I have been using Boones Farm but I seem to wake up with these headaches:D ?

On the vid thing I cant seem to get a link on this thread for the video so I can show all my friends? Joanne saw it once, me three times, Brian and Jacquie twice... so far my only friend has seen it!

On the shirt thing we are good to go!

Who else here having an anniversary while on this cruise? Got to figure out how to give Joanne some more diamonds while on the cruise? (not that she needs them) Have to figure out which anniversay date to use! (tell that story on the ship)!

Garry,
Names for Scott and Lynn are Scott and Lynn for the shirts. Good thing I woke up early today.
Hope I made the dead line foe names on the shirts.

Too foggy minded top count bounces right now.

Welcome to the new folks.

Joe we still have about two feet of snow in the yard, and I am ready to see it go. That will be a while yet.

I am amazed at how many folks we have going.

Joe re COZ ferries. I recall there were about three good sized ferries running about every hour.
I think they would carry about 300 or more folks per trip. I remember that getting a round trip ticket was easier than buying one way tickets at either port. Tickets are good on any crossing as they load on first come first on board.

ok 33,035,294 bounces of green bouncy man till we go. or about 52 days.

Well it is back at work today...Took off Friday so had a three day weekend which makes it harder. Oh well. Went shopping on Friday and Sat and bought a few cruise things. DD got a new bathing suit, a sun hat, and a few new outfits. I bought a new pair of shoes (the 10 pair I have are definately not enough...lol...) I am waiting till the last minute to buy a few new outfits and a bathing suit for myself as I am hoping to loose like 20 more pounds before sailing (I am on Atkins).

We also sent away for our passports on Friday. They should get here right around the time the cruise docs get here.

Has anyone noticed the purple bouncy guy jumps slightly slower than the green bouncy guy...How many jumps for him I wonder...
(The purple bouncey guy does not want to work...Pretend you see him) :bounce:

Back to work i suppose...Have like 20 emails of things to get done.

Talk to everyone later.

Hey guys, I noticed on a separate thread that COTOMOM who is going on our cruise and recently posted here is in a Cat 1! How cool is that???

So, COTOMOM, do we all get to take a peek at what real luxury looks like???

Sorry to hear everyone has had snow, but I agree with Joe that it's better for the garden! We had a heat wave the first part of the weekend (temps in the high 70s), and I dug out some of the shorts I bought for the trip. Man, were my legs WHITE!!! So just look for the chick with the blinding reflection of her legs, that will be me!

Hi folks:wave:
We have a Cat 1 Cruising with us? That solves the problem of where to hold the DisBoard wine tasting party. :p Ok so we got First Blush, Boones Farm and any other wines..... :pinkbounce Just checking to see if he is working? The nerve of him.

Scott: Dave from Marietta mentioned in another post that since the schedule pickup for some excursions is 930AM and we get into Coz at 1030, he thought it may be possible that DCL will first go to the mainland then on to Coz. DCL did not say if this is true, but it is possible. Send me that snow!

TKD Lisa: have to get out a little each day in the afternoon and get rid of the white. !0-15 minutes per day should do it regardless of the cold. That is unless it is raining....which is a good thing.

WDWGoose: Still looking for the Cockatiels, they heard the Music on the vid and recognized it from their earlier years...think they flew the coop...

How many early/late folks we got here, Canasta schedule is filling up fast, thanks for the PMs and emails!:bounce: :D

TNRobin: You high and dry with the rain out there I hope?

Here in Orlando it is a nice 80something degrees out...definitely no snow and not too much rain so I have no excuse and yes Lisa my legs are probably almost as pale as yours. I think early April I will start going to the tanning bed. Don't want to glow in the dark on the ship...I always hear jokes about computer programmers always being pale and am trying to stop the stereotype...lol... :D

WOW COTO...Cat 1 cabin huh. That is awesome. I hope you will remember us and let us see what it looks like. I know I will never be able to go that low. Cat 4 seems expensive enough to me. No worries though because you have the concierge service. That seems almost worth it to go with the cat 3 and up. We'll see next time.

Joe&Joanne...Put me on the list for Smirnoff Ice and Jello Shots...
:bounce:

c-ya,
Jennifer

Believe me, if it weren't for the loner Grandparents who are accompanying us on this trip, we would NOT be in a Cat. 1, much less a cat 3,4,etc! It is due to their generosity and also their desire for a peaceful and quiet atmosphere on board a ship they are worried will be 'overflowing' with children! They are big cruisers but never on a 'children' oriented ship so this should be interesting... for all of us :(

So, I think the wine tasting party will have to be somewhere besides my cabin unless I want to be left in FL after the cruise :p But I hopefully will be able to give a little 'tour' (if I can convince the GP's to go out for a bit ;) ;) So there, that is the story, stop making me blush! (Can't you tell I'm *shy*? :D

Count me in for a bottle of liquid California grapes! :D

Can't wait!
Kendra

Hi folks:wave:
Ok, we will have to get you Cat 1 folks down to where the others hang out. Those California Grapes will go well on Deck Seven Aft at a time to be determined.... You really did not think we would have a party in your suite did ya;) Nah!

Smirnoff Ice and Jello Shots? How will you keep them from getting all runny? WIll want to try them beforehand..any recipe?

:pinkbounc: HE working now? That little devil....

Like, I am totally Bummed out. Cat 1 is taken, there goes my chance for an upgrade to one of the big dog suites.

Cotomom - Great for you guys.

Joe I was going to tell her that Boons Farm really won't stain the carpets that much.:D

FYI we have the late seating.

garry jester: :smooth:

Hi
WDWGoose: was afraid to send more, may find out another use for them should you become impatient. Had already sent the stuff to Florida and that one was still out. Have some more work on the other things but you get the idea. Plenty where they came from.

Hate having to cheat at Pokeno and Canasta and not know who your cheating:p

You pass your exams? Congrats to BSN Vicki! Sounds like a plan to me for the wake up call, better yet, lets not leave the dock area until she comes in? Then we can wake everyone up and let them know just when it got there:D We can be like the teens on the Magic last Thursday up at 4AM? Up to no good! :D

Scott had a good article on Sea Lice, (good DM that he is?).

CMATT: did GaRry send you any smelts? You'e not bringing any with you are ya? We can cook em on the dock?

Why do you need a runway? The Air Force is not like the Navy you know, we need a lot of space to put them big guys down... Besides where would we go to have a Boones Farm if we did not have nice O & NCO Clubs? oopps! only serve top shelf stuff there...:smooth:

Ok Joe I have not heard any more about the smelt from my buddy Garry,,
forget the smelt now, I ready for grouper , orange ruffy, sword fish blackened, ect :D

Garry, Scott, Joe, Hookedonmagic,, working on shore excurions tonite whats everyone doing again saw some walking tour to mallory sq. at key west,,

Key west--walking tour , what about beach??
sea-
grand cayman--sting ray city snorkel, , and 7 mile beach, turtles
cozumel--dophins, shopping??? sight seeing ,, beach??
sea-
castaway cay- snorkel, beach ,
port- castaway on boat for next cruise

little info and insight here thanks cmatt

Hi Folks:wave:

On the excursions so far: On Key West we may just play it by ear. We have been there before, have a place in Florida, and plan on going often upon our retirement so there is nothing that is a burning issue. Same thing for Cayman. We spent ten days there, did 4 dives per day, some night dives as well as diving and snorkeling with the stingrays. This was absolutely awesome but I would not do it again. I think the baby stingrays would remember me not feeding them and attack voraciously! :p
We will rent a Jeep and go to hell and drive around the island with the kids?
Now Cozumel is another story????? If the ships stops at Playa to let passengers off for Tulum, we will get off and go to Tulum and Xel-Ha ourselves, return to the ferry, back to Coz and maybe if early enough go to Chank Nat Park? Want to be back on board to see lights of Coz from the ship? Ifnot then we will get the ferry from Coz to Playa then off to Tulum and Xel-Ha and perhaps skip Chank on the return. Still in planning stages.

Ok on the Orange Roughy, no smelts! Walking tour in Key West may be a player if we end up at Mallory Square around party time!

I have not called and made my ressies for the excursions, but this is my almost final schedule. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Key West - 1:40 do the Walking Tour and then at 5:00 do the Sunset Western Union Schooner Sailing...

Grand Caymen - Nautilus Undersea Boat at 9:05, hang out at 7 mile beach until www.captainmarvins.com shore excursion to snorkel at Stingray City and Barrier Reef (2 hrs).

Cozumel - Xcaret Eco Archeological Park, then somehow end back up around boat dock and find something interesting to do. Carlos and Charlies is in Cozumel right?

Castaway Cay - Just CHILL OUT on the beach.

What do you all think. It seemed better to me to do the organized excursions so you don't miss anything. I am not confident enough to go out on my own and explore an island i've never been to before.

Thanks much,
Jennifer Perez

We'll be first timers too so thought it was fitting to do the inaugural. Can't imagine that Disney would ever have any kinks to work out so we're all excited. We'll be with our 3-year-old daughter and thought the cruise would be a good introduction to the wonders of Disney -- anyone else with one that age? Which excursions are you doing????

Gary, OK OK OK I am not teh petit one of Scott and Lynn.

Joe Lynn is the Good DM and I am a MSDT.

Snowing today and I am just listening to the new Jimmy Buffett CD "Far Side of the World" only on track two and I like it a lot.

Oh well back to the grind stone.

Jenifer23 that looks pretty good your off shore excurions,,,

what about the beach at key west???? any one /?

Joe thinking about yours,, ???? I forgot two of my favorites escargo, conch, halibut, sea bass ,,oysters half shell.
looking at deep sea fishing maybe??

hooked on magic i think recomended beach at grand cayman,
and turtles and stingrays snorkel,,

dive maybe at coz???

or kids want to do dophin swim,,,, cmatt :sunny: :earsboy: :earseek:  getting closer

Hi folks

As you can see from our plans we will rough it? Probably do the beach in Key West if not burned from the RAD? I am bringing the dive stuff, but I am leaning against it right now? Joanne only dives when the water is warmer than her body temp, and Brian and Jacquie don't even snorkel? So this will be fun! Just had halibut last night. Fresh from our Alaska trip? Only a few more pieces left:( . Oh well an excuse for another trip up there:p

CMATT: What did you have for lunch? You seeing double and triple now? Two of your favorites turned into 5?

Ok now its back to work:rolleyes:
