Inaugural Western 5/11/02 Who is going?

cmatt my BIL always goes smelt fishing but personally I would rather not eat it, tried it once. If he goes this year I will have him save some and I will send it to you.

I agree we all should get together and celebrate. Our DIS group in Oct (which happylady was a part of) met a couple times. It really is a blast seeing familiar faces on the ship, (and off too- shared a cab with fellow DISers in St. Thomas)

It far exceeded out dreams. We had a great time and hope to repeat it in the next couple years. My major complaint was that there are too many things to do with too little time!

We (me, husband, mom and dad) will be there! DH and I are buying the cruise for my parent's 30th anniversary!!!! We can't wait DH and I went for our honeymoon and were in cat 11. With STM we were able to get a verandah!!
Can't wait to see you all there!

Great to hear from you again!! We had a great time on our Sept. cruise. Perfect weather for the cruise and the kids were real troopers at WDW even though it was horribly humid amid the downpours. We flew back the Sat before the terrorist attacks. What a difference a week makes! I can't believe I convinced DH to go again so soon, but we wanted to go on the Western route and we received an offer from DCL for the returning cruisers so it was too hard to pass up. We were supposed to wait until March 2003 for the kids birthday's, but we're celebrating our 10th anniversary in July, so this will be an early celebration for us. I remember us standing in the water on St. Thomas talking and trying to keep DD from being swept up in the waves. DD wants to know when she can go to the "Big Pool and Collect Shells" again! Talk to you soon!!!

DD & I will be on the inaugural western cruise. Celebrating a late Birthday and Mother's Day. Can't wait!!!

5 MONTHS THATS TO LONG

that about half the time to have a baby

how about 149 days ???? this sounds alot better to me. last time we had a sailing away party on deck 10 midship with bubbles.???
We also tried to get together in the terminal and let the kids meet and play.This really helped the time go by.

Well my DH was wrong yesterday was 150 days and today is 149 or so he tells me now. I have not yet learned how to put a countdown time on the post but I will work on it.

Peter are you celebrating your b'day at the port or at the sail away??
speaking of sailaways, we can bring little bottles of bubbles (the kind you have at weddings/parties) if everyone would like. Does anyone know what time they are arriving at the port yet, is anyone else staying at the raddison and taking advantage of the shuttle service to the port? (with the avis car return there also.) We will be arriving at the port by 1100.
Is anyone staying at WDW before or after the cruise??

DH and I will be arriving in FL on 5/7 not sure if we will head straight for the world or if we will visit some friends in FL. I vote for WLR.

We will also be on the 5/11/02 Inaugural Western Sailing!!! Can't wait!!! We wouldn't miss this one for anything! It will be great to get back on the Magic again to see all of our good friends that are on the boat.

taking a town car to port on sat. see you at 11:00

no time for WDW this trip,, if air fare gets more reasonable between now and march,, we will go then if not before fall i hope

cmatt i heard those small hooks can be hard to find,,

might have to use a butterfly net,, or what ever they catch
sardines with, some of that smoked samon might be good now as well or pickled mushrooms,,
