In your mind, how old do you think you are.

I think of myself as a 28 year old, but this year I'll be celebrating the
17th anniversary of my 28th birthday. I don't know why I'm stuck here mentally, maybe it's because I moved to Toronto and away from family and friends this year. It was an exciting time with a new baby and a new home.

How about you? Any reason you're stuck on a certain age in your mind's eye?

I am only 27 but it seems like once I hit 24 I started having a difficult time remembering how old I am. If someone asked I used to just rattle it off...now I actually have to stop and do the math. I guess that means I will always be 24!

I have done the exact same thing since I was about 23. Frankly, I don't care in the least about my age. DW gets upset with me because I care so little. It's a big deal to her. I just mess with her. She doesn't work, so I always ask her how her retirement is going. Age means nothing to me. For me, it's all about goals. Once I've acomplished my list of aspirations, then I might feel old.

physically alot of days I feel 70

I really don't know how old I think I am. I just know that a couple of years ago when I was at a wedding for one of my nieces I was on the dance floor with my DSIL [bride's mom] when I caught sight of myself in the mirrored wall behind the head table and the first thought that came to mind was "Who the hell is that old man"

Sometimes I feel 12. Other times I feel 112. Most of the time I feel somewhere in the early 30's. I'll be 48 this year.

I very rarely feel (or act) my age!

probably about 8, I'm definately a big kid in many respects- some good, some not so good. I can be mature and responsible when I have to be, but I have a sense of fun like a child.

I was just talking about this with our electrician last night!!!! In my mind, I think I am like 26 or 28. In actuality, I'm 41 and have NO idea how I got to be this old!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, since I work at my old highschool . . .I still think I'm a teenager . . .act like one anyhow . . .none of the students call me Mrs. C they call me Debbie . . .unlike the secretary that works in my office who is younger than me, they call her Miss A. . . .

In reality I'm going on 36 . . .but I'm still stuck in 1985 (year of my graduation) on a daily basis.

I still think of myself as college aged. I graduated college 10 years ago. I'd rather feel younger than older.

Depends who I'm with.
When I'm with my GC I act and feel like a child.
When I'm with my own children I feel 30ish.
When I'm working, this is the most puzzling, I roll my eyes and wonder where I've been for 40 years.
When I'm with DH I feel and act the age I am, fifties.
