In VB right now, rainy day suggestions??

Hi everyone,

My family and I are in VB right now. We had a great day yesterday at the pool and now they have told us that the beach is open too! BUT, it is cloudy and a passing thunderstorm is due to come through, so the beach may have to wait until tomorrow. This is our first trip to VB, do you have any suggestions for things to do in the area? I have an almost 5 year old boy and a little girl who turned 3 today!! I would really like for her to have a great day. Of course, we are at Disney, everyday is a great day!!!!

What did you end up doing today?

When we were there on a rainy day, the Castmembers set up games in the lobby and back porch area.

We are staying in a 2 bdrm villa so we had breakfast in our room and then the kids wanted to watch a movie so I put on a DVD for them. We then decided to check out the store and get some vero beach stuff and then go for a ride around the area and found a place to have lunch and by the time we were coming back from lunch the sun was back out! So it was off to the beach, and then the pool and then Shutters for a birthday dinner! It turned out to be a very nice day.

They did have games set up and other activities going on but a lot of it was more for older kids.

Today the sun is shining and we had a fun character breakfast with Goofy and Donald. We spent a few hours at the pool and now we are back in the room for lunch and hopefully naps! After naps, is more pool time (my son loves the slide so it is hard to convince him to go to the beach), then pizza back in our room and then the campfire tonight! We are having a great time!
