In Search of My Body - Not the One I Ate... Vol. 6: Goddesses just want to have fun

Here is my take of a dairy farm. That crap is falling from a high point and splatters everywhere! Yes, I got a splatter on my white shirt! :scared1:

Maddi milked a cow. I opted out, what with the whole poop grudge I was holding against the whole thousand of them.

High point - 1/2 hour old calf. Precious.

:lmao:

sorry. I think that's hysterical. Of course, BIL & SIL own & operate the dairy farm that Stephen grew up on - that's where Seth works....I have waaaayyy more experience with cow poop on clothes than I care to think about.

Amiee, Amiee, Amiee!!!!

Oh what fun - two birthdays so close together!

So here we go - here we go-

Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday Ms. my engine is sounding funny!
Happy Birthday to you!

Have a lovely, lovely day Amiee. I'm so happy to know you. So happy. :lovestruc

Lisa!

I know you linked it. I am so bloody slow that I never found it.

And as for the sarcasm - has to be your proximity to some other country's border. For sure, eh? :lmao:

Come on Cutie. That's not enough for me. Spewing? - did you give me permission for imagining throwing food at him? :rotfl:

One has to have some fantasies you know. ;)

Don't make me imagine hitting Mr. Kat with a can of Lysol. Don't make me.

Liz - :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

Thinking about you and mom -your entire family.

And Genvieve and Greg and Jodi. :lovestruc to you all.

Hey Liz - how is your BIL doing?

LMAO! Lyz and cow poop! GREAT day! Just amazing. TR later tonight. Guys get here in a few hours.

Can't wait Erika. Can't wait to hear about their reaction. Riley must be having a field day with all this!

Glad you had a great day.

Trip Report – 2

Surprisingly, the girls woke up early. So we were out the door by 8:30. Saw Art, snapped a pic of him and Kel, then headed to the bus.

DisneyMasy2009Day2002.jpg

We had major Bus Karma and the MK bus was waiting for us. Perfect.

Got to the MK just 2 minutes before the Rope Drop Show. OMG, love being at the MK for rope drop. During the show, Cammie turned to me and said, “Look, Mom, I have goose bumps!” I got teary!

DisneyMasy2009Day2015.jpg

We went straight back to Fantasyland. As we were walking past the Castle, the Wicked Step-Mother and Step-sisters were right there. These are *new* characters for us, so we were psyched. Walked right up and were first to get pics with them. It was hilarious. I was totally trash-talking with the Step-mother…arguing back and forth about whose daughters were prettier. Hi lar ious.

DisneyMasy2009Day2022.jpg

I can’t believe everything we did today. We walked on to EVERYTHING. Absolutely everything. Here is the run-down. In Fantasyland, we got to do Pooh, Peter Pan’s Flight, Tea Cups, the Carousel, and Snow White (Small World is down for refurb).

DisneyMasy2009Day2023.jpg

Once done here, we went right to Toon Town for rope drop there (9:45). I asked the girls what they wanted to do—Goofy’s Barnstormer or get in line for pictures with Tink and the other fairies (this would also be new). They opted for Barnstormer—go figure. We got to Barnstormer and opened the ride. First ones on of the day. Rode it 3 times in a row.

DisneyMasy2009Day2032.jpg

Off to Frontierland and Big Thunder Mountain. Saw Goofy and Donald dressed up in their Fronteirland garb. Got some pics and continued to BTMRR. WALK-ON. So we did. Twice! Then right next door to Splash. Got soaked, which was great since it was H.O.T. for us Northerners.

DisneyMasy2009Day2035.jpg

Quick trip up to Haunted Mansion. Walked on. Fun. Loved our Ghost rider! Then over to Adventureland and hit Pirates. Also a walk-on. You may notice that I haven’t mentioned a FastPass yet. Didn’t need them. Incredible!

Ok, by this time, it was 11:30. Yes! We did all of that in 2.5 hours! It was awesome! But we were hot and hungry and we had ADRs at the Plaza. Checked in and were seated within 3 minutes. We have never eaten there before (sit down) and it was just what we needed. Sandwiches and fries and ice cream. If you ever want to do a sit down restaurant in MK and don’t want to spend a lot, this is a great option. It is also very NON-chaotic. Which is worth its weight in gold when you just need to eat, cool down, and re-energize.

After lunch, we were perfectly placed to hit Tomorrowland (because I am made of Awesome when it comes to planning Disney trips). HA! So we did Buzz (twice, natch) and then the Laugh Floor. (Space is also down for refurb.)

Then we just had a couple of things more we wanted to do. Back to Fantasyland for Philharmagic. And since the day was perfect so far, this was too. As soon as we got there, they were starting. Walked right in, right into the theater. Zero wait.

Our last stop of the day was the Jungle Cruise. Just cause. Girls get a kick out of it, so it seemed like a nice way to end our day.

DisneyMasy2009Day2005.jpg

At this point, it was 1:45 and smokin’ hot. Since we had done SO SO SO much, we decided it was Pool Time. Yes, we did all of that before 2pm.

Once again, we had major Bus Karma. As soon as we got to the BC bus area, the bus pulled up. No lie.

Pool was awesome. We got there just as they were starting the Pool Party. So the girls participated in the Hoola-Hoop competition and the new Miley Cyrus hoe-down dance thing. Cammie won the hoe-down and got a cute prize. We hung at the pool for maybe 2-3 hours. I was in a lot and then decided it was time for a cocktail and a book. Snagged the perfect chaise, right in front of the area where the girls wanted to be, so all was good.

Back to the room for dinner tonight. And this is why I love DVC. Sometimes you just want quiet and relaxed. So I popped a Freschetta in the oven and the girls just crashed in front of the tv for some down time.

Perfect, perfect, perfect day. The only snarky thing all day was on the Pooh ride. The woman in the row in front of us in our Honey Pot turned around half way through the ride and said, “Quiet down! I can’t hear!” She was about 50-55 (?) and alone and mean and cranky. Kelly LIVES for Pooh and was super excited and pointing everything out and talking about it. But sheesh lady, it is the POOH RIDE.

Jeff just called and they are on the ground and we are waiting for them now.

I will update with pics later.

Erika - loving the TR so far. What an awesome day...

Quiet night here. I am off to bed soon. Tomorrow is my massage day (can't wait), followed by the gym and then Mother's Day prep with my sister. We are also heading out to see the new Star Trek movie (Amy - we can compare notes next week). If all goes well, there will be a bike ride in there somewhere as well.

Have a great night everyone!!!

Yes! Nancy, forgot about that. What do you recommend for the *stain*?

sadly, I don't have a "sure fix". I use oxy clean & Spray & Wash dual action spot/stain remover. I can usually do pretty well with that - but Seth's clothes? Some of them are beyond help :scared:

Kelly LIVES for Pooh and was super excited and pointing everything out and talking about it. But sheesh lady, it is the POOH RIDE.

Kelly lives for Pooh. pooh: and Lyz? She's splattered with it :lmao:

So wonderful to hear that your trip has been so amazing. I'm lovin' the reports!

It's Mother's Day weekend. Which means I have to work tomorrow and Sunday. We do a buffet brunch for about 300 on Mothers day. wheeee. Callin' it a night here. Such an exciting life I lead :rolleyes1

Thanks Erika.

Loved it. Can't wait to see the pics with those three women. What fun characters to play, eh? What fun.

I've never ever been to a drop rope. :rotfl::lmao::rotfl: I barely make the breakfast cutoff time. :rotfl:

Yes, there is nothing better to me than sleeping at WDW. Afternoon sleeps. Sleep ins - no preference.

Ahh but late at night at WDW. My time. :lovestruc

That lady on the ride. Holy crap. Should have told her they were looking for her over at Snow White.

Lovely TR. Thanks for doing it.

GOOD MORNING!!!

Rainy & misty this morning :crazy2: very uninspiring. Wish I were at Disney ;)

I know! That would be awesome I had quite a fun interaction with Cruella DeVille once. OMG would I love to play her :thumbsup2

My nephew is graduating from college today! :woohoo: We can't go (it's in NH and Seth & I both have to work) - but Becca made a cake for the party afterwards. Fun.

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

Hi! Up and getting ready for Epcot. Yes, we will make rope drop there as well! ;)

Jeff and Riley got in just fine and the kids were all SO happy to be all together again. The really are each other's best friends. Jeff and I stayed up for hours talking and having drinks. It was wonderful. We have both been functioning at warp speed for the past month, so we haven't *really* talked in ages. So it was great and we laughed and laughed and just connected.

Trying to get pics up.
