In search of ICED COFFEE

Where oh where on Disney property, counter service or table service, will we find iced coffee? Preferably goooood iced coffee? We are leaving in just a few days, and my traveling buddy needs her caffeine fix!

Where are you staying? If you are on the monorail, you can hop into the Contemporary and get iced coffee at the coffee bar in the lobby. They have recently moved it to the front by the entrance. I'm sure there are plenty of places to get iced coffee on property, but i know for a fact you can get it here as I had one on Saturday

Kimmie, we just got back and stumbled across some iced coffee drinks while on a mission to find my Elusive Strawberry Swirl.

This is the menu from Enchanted Grove in the MK. I'm assuming the Iced Cappuccino would be what you're after? DH had the Cappuccino Float and seemed to like it.

But the Strawberry Swirl couldn't be beat.

Our local McDonald's makes a pretty good iced coffee. Do any of the places in Disney that serve McDonald's food carry their iced coffee too?

Tanyabeth-- That's a good idea. But would you believe, when we were on a southern road trip this summer, not a ONE McDonalds even seemed to understand the concept of iced coffee? Sweet tea, they were all over. I'll check anyway, though -- because Disney is certainly not all about being southern.

Another place for iced coffee is a kiosk just outside the American pavilion, towards Germany. Sometimes I ask them to put in an extra shot of espresso if I really need to be revived! (They also have a companion kiosk just at the end of Future World/beginning of WS, on the way towards Mexico.)

BTW, they don't seem to use Nestle's.

No, it is a permanent stand. It is called Espresso Coffee & Pastries. The coffee costs $2.25. We were there in August and it was most refreshing in that heat. Have a great time.

My favorite place is Sleepy Hollow in MK. It's on the right at you walk into Liberty Square. They also have excellent chocolate chip cookies that compliment the iced coffee very well!! It's our traditional snack while waiting for the afternoon parade!!

KPK, not sure when your trip down here was, but every McDonalds that I have been to lately has Ice Coffee as a menu item now, but it has only come about in the last 6 months or so. They had it at the Mickey D's near Animal Kingdom, so keep that in mind also!

Correct!! and yes, I agree with the cheer! there are four non-WDW run coffee stands at Epcot which serve real coffee for those who are not Nestle fans!

It baffles me that in such a warm weather place, it's nearly impossible to find iced coffee! You'd think it'd be everywhere! They have those frozen slushy coffee drink thingys that aren't bad at some of the stands around, but they don't usually open until afternoon. I need my venti iced vanilla latte every morning, and I searched everywhere for them. The only place that I found one was at the Kona coffee stand at the Poly. It was okay, but nothing to write home about. I'm seriously considering bringing a small latte machine down with me on our next trip so I can just make my own every morning.
