In search of a Friendlys

The Friendlys website says that there's one at 3915 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, but mapquest doesn't recognize it. Is it in a mall? Is the Osceola Square Mall nearby? Also, they say that there's one at 8718 International Drive. Is that one in a mall? We want to stay off-site one night and go to Friendlys. Or is it close to the value hotels on-site? The off-site hotels we checked seem just as expensive.

The International Drive location is in a better location.Neither one is in a mall if I recall.The Osceola Square mall isn't much of a mall and the area is going downhill.As far as not finding cheap hotels off-site,I can't believe that, I stay off site 8-9 times a year and usually find rooms between $35-$60,most of the time on International Drive which has a lot of good hotels for good prices.

The one on International Drive is a stand alone restaurant. We've eaten there, and it was very good.

I'm not sure how inexpensive you mean, but you can check out www.vistacayrent.com. It's the listing site for Vista Cay (upscale, gated condos). It's on Universal Drive (runs parallel to International Drive) and is adjacent to the Convention Center.

Last year, I had a quote for Thanksgiving week for $600 for a 3BR. If you send out a general inquiry and make an offer, you might get a bite.
