In room gifts

I know Disney is using a new company, I did not like the offers and they will not customize. In the past I used a third party person who made fantastic baskets for us, is this still permitted? Any recommendations? If not it’s ok we can give them gifts prior to trip.

Yes, it's still permitted. There are a ton of outside companies that will deliver all kinds of things - baskets, cakes, charcuterie boards, etc. - to WDW resorts. The only difference is the items will not be placed in your room. If you are on FB, you may want to check out the Ear for Each Other group made of up former and current CMs who have started their own small businesses.
