Interesting question. We have done a DCL cruise over Christmas and a WDW stay over Christmas, both included Christmas Day itself. What we did in both cases was to bring a large Christmas tree tapestry and hang it in the room, as well as other decorations (a mini tree with little ornaments, strings of lights, and stockings). The room felt warm and festive without having a larger tree take of precious space in the room. We considered doing a real tree when we were at WDW, but we decided against it because of how much space the tree would take up and those rooms don't have unlimited space. The tapestry wasn't expensive via Amazon, and the mini tree was also pretty cheap at Michael's. Just a thought.HI all,
Does anyone know of any companies exist that will come and decorate your room for you for Christmas and put a tree up too? We're staying over Christmas itself for 11 nights and can't be without a tree and some decorations!!
I don’t believe they will allow anyone into your room before you checkin (with the possible exception of Disney Florists) especially in case you ask to change rooms when checking in.Thanks guys. I'm meeting someone on Teams shortly who has a decorating company. I'm going to see if they can go into our room before we arrive to decorate it and dress a tree. I'll keep the thread updated should anyone ever have a similar query.
Yep. That’s why we did the tapestry and just a few decorations. And an actual tree would take up way to much valuable space, IMO. But to each their own.this seems like entirely too much work to me

Were you successful with getting a tree in your room? We will be there over Christmas wand would like to use a service like this as well.HI all,

I totally agree! I started a light collection - all with white strings. My orange lights for Halloween were a big hit and I was able to get some decorations at $ store in FL. We usually have a 1 BR at OKW so I hang the lights around the entry mirror and put decorations on the shelf. I have white lights for the May trip and will buy some florals. I haven't figured out the color for September yet LOL!We participated in the old tree exchange once. Once. Agree it was just a lot of work and all you have to do is walk out into the resort or parks and get Christmas decor all over. Switched to some string lights and garland on top of the furniture under the TV. Just enough and super simple.
