I booked the Mickey's Birthday wish for my DD and also had them add 3 Glow with it ears since we are going to WOC our first night and also 2 GCs to cover our meals at Ariel's Grotto and Blue Bayou (mainly so my mom doesn't try and pick up the check). I am wondering about extra balloons or something...I really want the room to look festive.

When my family went in 2003/2004 for our 20th Wedding anniversary, we spent Christmas at DLR (first time away from home). We stayed at DLH concierge (sp??) for 10 days not including travel days.

I had the dream makers deliver little gifts every day and on Christmas, they decorated a little tree (that we got to take it home - they left the box that it came in) and had gifts under the tree.

This time when we go in Dec. 2013 for our 30th anniversary we are staying for 9 days in the parks not including travel days. I am planning on getting the pirate booty for my DH and DS as they are pirate buddies and I want to do something for my DH and mine anniversary on 12/29.

This sounds like fun!

What sort of little gifts did you do? Did you tell what to deliver or let them surprise you?

I am thing I might want to upgrade the package I ordered or do this as well.

Halloween baskets and room celebrations are out. The room celebration is $329. It is a Skellington motif. It appears to include quite a bit. Anyone know how to attach doc files?

I don't think you can, but you can probably open it in one window and then copy and paste it here.

We just got back and did the in room celebration for my oldest. It was really nice They left a card saying which relatives it was from, the singing balloon got a little annoying and spent the trip in the bathroom ahahaha. He loved it though

Overall I would definitely do the custom gift baskets again, that was awesome. The in room celebration was very fun as well and I could see us doing that again too; provided that they offer more things we don't alreay own from previous trips.

^Can I ask how much the custom basket was with the Buzz, and Jake figures?

And the only thing available at a good neighbor hotel are the baskets, correct? We usually stay at the PPH, but with no special offers for December, it's too pricey this year. I would love to do an in room celebration for Christmas! Maybe next year.........

It was a custom basket (I told her what I wanted and she went and shopped for it) and I think it came to $47 plus the fee for their shoping which is $25. I'm not sure if you can get them to make you a custom basket if you aren't onsite.
