Has anyone used the in room baby sitting at the park hotels?

Which service was the best?

What times did you have them come? night afternoon morning

What do you have to have for them, plans, info, toys?

any and all advice or stories would be greatly appreciated!

I know "kids night out" is the one Disney endorses and they bring all kinds of activities for the kids with them. They will either stay in the room or take kids around the resort
(Personally i'd feel more comfortable knowing where they are :thumbsup2 )

they are expensive though and charge a transportation fee of around $10 in addition to the hourly rate. I called - i think it was like $16 per hour for 3 kids.

But i have heard positive things from other Dis'ers.

I am wondering too if anyone has any reviews? I am thinking about a night out since we are going for our 3 year wedding anniv. But at the same time my kids have never been babysat by ANYONE but there grand parents and aunts.

We routinely use Fairy Godmothers. The other service is Kids Nite Out. KNO is more corporate, FG is a small, family run business.

We have gotten the same sitter six times out of seven. We loved them both. It's expensive, close to $100 for about 4 hours with a tip, but it was very worth it....Ours brought a bag of toys with her, and son just loved her.

I've read a lot of these threads over the past five years. There are very few complaints, and most of the complaints are pretty minor. One didn't play enough with the kdis, etc.

There is a certain group of parents that in-room sitting just freaks out, and they come over here to rain on everybody's parade (Well, I'd never leave MY most prized possession in a HOTEL room with a TOTAL STRANGER....) but for those of us who have actually done it, it's great.

We too have a few questions about babysitting.
Has anyone ever used a sitter in the park just to stay with an infant while mom and dad ride with other kids?

We used KNO and LOVED them. The person who came was exactly what we asked for, and they were right on time to the minute. They stayed the afternoon with the 2 little ones, while my friend and I took our oldest kids to the park. They will go to Disney with you and watch your kids at the theme parks if you need them to. The person that came for our family, brought a DVD player with tons of movies, they had a treasure hunt planned, I gave them money to go to the food court to buy ice cream. They can do anything, almost...but no water activities.
