In Room Baby Sitting

Hello all.

We are visiting WDW over Labor Day weekend. DS will be 11 months. Also along for the trip are my mother and her boyfriend.

DW, Boyfriend, and I are doing the Segway tour on Saturday morning. My mother has offered to watch DS, but she can't do it on her own (she is almost completely blind and wheel chair bound). Her boyfriend offered to help watch, but I know he would also really like to go on the Segway tour.

I posed this scenario to my mother and she thought it was a good idea. Hire an in room babysitter for a few hours that morning to help our my mother. That way everyone is happy.

I have tentatively booked someone from Fairy Godmothers. I guess I'm looking for opinions from anyone that has used an in room babysitting service. Do you like Fairy Godmothers? Any other company out there you might recommend more? Thanks in advance.

I have read nothing but great reveiws all over this forum on the 2 or 3 disney recomended in room sitting services. I will also be using them for our trip in November.

We used Kids Nite Out 3 times, 2 seperate trips. We had great experiences all times. They were the Disney recommended company. Both companies I've heard nothing but good comments on and have the same regulations for hire..criminal background check, drugs etc. Kids Nite OUt employees have to go through the "Disney Tradiations" training (customer service etc).

I would trust either company.

We just used Kid's Nite Out on our trip last week. Everything went great. The kids loved the sitter. Being paranoid mom's we left a cel phone in the bathroom for the oldest to call us if he needed too and he never did. On the second night we asked if he wanted us to leave the phone and he said no so clearly they were comfortable with the sitter.
