woohoo got a 200 point for BCV contract at 4th attempt. Got ID and activation code during the night and have 199 point that were banked from last year by the previous owner. Only problem is we already have our holiday n=booked for July this year so may have them to rent out. Also going to try for GF buying direct we think will wait and see but so excited woohoo.

Welcome home! That's awesome. I heard that DVC was on a "BCV Bloodbath" during January and February where they were buying back a large volume of BCV contracts. It's good you finally made it through!

Thanks much appreciated. Yeah Disney bought back 200 pts @ $150pp 150 pts @ $144pp 250 pts @ $155pp and so though we were going to be out of luck lol.

Ok just off the phone with Disney and started the process of buying 200 GF points as an add-on lol. Just waiting on paperwork to be sent through.

I have two contracts out (I'm the seller) for AKV and it is taking a looooong time. Its now 30 days which the others I have sold never went that long. They are small loaded AKV contracts and at the high end of the resale market - I thought they would sail through ROFR.

OK got the 2nd contract 200 GF points straight from Disney. However how the process of paying for has left me devastated and at a loss of £879.61. I thought Disney taking our card details then taking payment was as a transfer and would cost me £25 but no its a debit and incurs a currency exchange fee of a percentage so cost me £904.61. So if going to buy DVC make sure you send the money via a money transfer so you input Disney details and don't allow them to debit your account.
