In Park Table Service - WDW vs US

I visit both US and WDW every other month. I have noticed myself recently using the table service restaurants in US parks but not the ones in WDW parks. I now feel that dollar for dollar the US restaurants in the parks are a better value and better food dollar for dollar. I have even found the service is better.

Let me qualify this by saying I am not into spending any more than $20 total for a table service meal. Maybe if my tastes were more expensive I might feel differently. But when I compare the price and quality of a Mythos to any comparable restaurant at WDW I feel Mythos wins hands down. I don't feel rushed at any US restaurant. They are VERY friendly. The US restaurants each serve their own complementary signature bread before the meal.

Anyone else found this to be true? Add in the fact that I get 10% off with annual pass at US table service and I find that WDW gets very little of my dining dollars anymore.

That's why Universal gets more of my money than Disney...park and food discounts with the AP.

Agreed Mythos is the greatest in park restauraunt. I have a few favs at Disney but would go to US any day to eat whether on citywalk or in park.
Discounts are always nice too, I use my 50% off coupon, that i get in holiday package, at Mythos every year.

However I have to say the counter services at Disney are better most of the time.

and the fact that Theme Park Insider rates Mythos as the #1 theme park restaurant in the World, 5 years in a row, has nothing at all to do with the fact that people think it's a better restaurant than anything inside a disney park?

This thread is really a better fit for the Restaurants board, so this is where you can now find it. :)

Mythos is impressive. But the last time I was over there (September) it closed at 3 PM :confused3

If I had cars more, I'd always be driving over for Tchoup Chop. But that's not in a park.
