In park DAS return times

When you’re in the park and go to select a DAS return time, is the return time usually consistent with what the actual wait would be? For example if a ride has a 20 minute wait is the DAS return time usually about 20 minutes later?

Also we are going to MK on a few party nights but do not have party tix. Where the park closes at 6pm, does DAS end at sometime earlier than that? (I know you could usually hop in the regular line til 5:59pm…just wondering how that interacts with DAS). Thanks!!

The return time is 10 minutes less than the posted standby time.

As for the DAS near park closing time, they do shut off the ability to book a DAS through the app when the standby time would make your return time after park close. But reports are you can go to the ride and ask for a return time and they will give you one.
