So, I added an extra ticket day to our free dining trip, since we can stay at my BIL's the night we check out.

That gives us 5 meal credits for 6 days.

At MK, Epcot or HS, does anyone know of adult meals that are really good size so that we can split it and just use one CS credit?

Thanks!

My husband and I split most of our CS meals at disney--most are big enough to split.

Tangierine Cafe, the CS in the Morocco Pavilion at Epcot, has one of the best bang for your DP buck meals. The combo meals there are enormous and only cost 1 CS credit. Definitely plenty for two people! And FYI, it's really yummy food too! :thumbsup2

The chicken and rib combo at Cosmic Ray's is very large. Most folks can split that.

The Kringla Bakery in the Norway pavilion at EPCOT offers a soup/sandwich/dessert combo meal that is very hearty as well.

The other thing we've been known to do is order a large adult meal and then supplement it with a child's meal, for which we pay OOP.

I find the half chicken meal at Sunshine Seasons in the Land at Epcoty is big enough to split- it really depends on how much each person eats.

We can split just about any of the counter service meals, I'm full after half a hamburger. If anything get an extra side of fries with just about any burger, chicken, sandwich combo and it should be more than enough.

DHS - Starring Rolls has large sandwiches.

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons has several large entree options.

DTD - WPE has huge portions, more than enough to share.

Ask for an extra cup of ice and share the beverage or get a cup of ice water as well.

MK: Chicken and Rib combo at Cosmic Rays - huge portion
Cheeseburger at Pecos Bill - amazing fixings bar, burger could easily be cut in half
Epcot: A lot of meals at Sunshine Seasons.
Tangerine Cafe in Morocco - excellent food too!
HS: Sandwich at Starring Rolls

DH and I did 9 days on the QSDP earlier this month and split a lot of our CS meals happily, with the dessert included it is a lot of food!

I think the meals are big enough to split at Flame Tree Barbeque in AK.

Hollywood Studios:
Fairfax Fare has some large chicken & ribs or chicken & brisket combo meals and a half chicken meal. The combos are only a 1/4 chicken portion, but with fries and cole slaw it's enough to split.

We also split the sandwich at Starring Rolls, since the yummy dessert cupcakes are very filling, even 1/2 of one!

Toy Story Pizza Planet has a pizza/small salad combo. Not too big but OK if both aren't too hungry and just want a bite.

Animal Kingdom:

Pizzafari, same pizza for one with a small salad as at Toy Story.
We've also split the hot Italian sandwich, but it's not huge.

Rib or chicken plates at Flame Tree.

Magic Kingdom:

Definitely the 1/2 chicken & ribs combo platter with green beans and mashed potatoes at Cosmic Rays.

Double bacon cheeseburgers at Pecos Bills, though I hate those new wheat buns:confused:. I wouldn't bother with ordering an extra bun, just cut the thing in half, they are filling, esp. with a few extra items from the fixin's bar.

Epcot:

Sunshine Seasons half chicken plate or pork chop plate, it's a big chop. Also several meal size salads. Chicken ceasar there is better than at other locations. Sandwiches to split too if you want a light bite.

Morocco definitely. Those schwarma platters have plenty on them.

At the France bakery you can get a small (like 3 bites) ham & cheese croissant for a snack credit. If we have snack credits to burn we get two of those and a chocotate mousse to split for 3 snack credits total.

Not sure of the nacho plates at the new Mexico Cantina CS, but seems that would be a CS big enough to split too if the size is normal and not single per person sized. Anyone got a picture of those from the new CS?

The turkey wrap at Cosmic Rays is also huge - and it's already cut in half for you!

The taco salad at Pecos Bill was pretty big. I was so full I needed help getting up (ok I'm exaggerating) and I didn't even eat the whole thing.

My husband and I split most of the meals except breakfast. It was the perfect amount for me but he needed another snack later on.

We have done Pizza Planet and just paid OOP for an extra salad.

Wow! Thanks SO much for all the great responses! I am so looking forward to our Christmas trip!

Probably the chicken or rib meal at Cosmic Rays.

I agree completely; two of us share the rib/chicken combo with either fries or mashed potatoes each trip. Then we have enough room for a Dole Float or another light snack.
