We rented My Sister's Keeper last night
I don't know why they changed it from the book.
It was good, but when I told DH what the book was like
he was also disappointed in the movie.

Thought I found a bedroom set for DD13 today
listed on craigslist as a sleigh bedroom set
and a seperate listing for a sleigh couch

when I called, someone was looking at it
but they didn't buy it, too big for their room

then they decided they wanted to sell it ALL as a set
and we don't need a couch

bummer

I am thinking they charge your credit card right away when you book a room
but I may just call and see how that works with the gift card.

My kids have full days Monday and Tuesday and a half day Wednesday.
I work Monday and Tuesday.

WE have next Monday off, first day of deer hunting.

Ice cream in a bag
very fun!

simple, too
DD10 made some after school


In a quart size ziplock bag:
one cup milk
one teaspoon vanilla
three tablespoons sugar
squeeze out the air and zip it tightly

put it in a gallon size heavy duty ziplock bag with four cups of ice and one cup of salt (we used water softener salt) Shake and squeeze for 5-10 minutes!

Wipe off the bag of ice cream before you open it! You can eat right out of the bag.

We rented "UP" last night.
What a great movie!
The girls giggled throughout it.
I loved "Doug" the dog

Time to get started on homework
DD10's (not mine)

then an easy night
only swimming tonight

DS is already there, the DD's go together, but not 'til seven
lots of leisure time tonight

Our volleyball team (and my own game) continue to improve
we won two of the three games tonight!

and every one of my serves got over the net!

My foodperks at Giant Eagle expire at the end of the month
and the store has been PACKED with turkey day shoppers...

DS and I stopped after volleyball and got a large load
so we could use them up, 8 percent


the best part is DS is a great helper shopper
he pushes the cart, runs after forgetten items, and carrys all the bags
I should take him more often!

Last work day of the week for me, tomorrow!

the little kids have the monthly assembly
(their focus is Manners)
they have to get up and do some little skit or song or whatever


that means it is ugly shirt day, too
