the oink has not hit yet

though our "city" school
has had 19 percent absentee rate the last two days
which is high

they are flu-bitten

DS is a good driver
though I still cringe at how quickly he accelerates from a stop

he likes speed...

I just took my nice warm sheets out of the dryer

(thought I should wash them since DH was feeling ill)

nice to crawl into a warm bed
we had a waterbed for years, I always liked the warm crawl in at night
it was hard to get used to a "regular" bed after that!

my friend is visiting new york this weekend
and she got tickets to Regis and Kelly on Monday!

this is very exciting and big news for our small town

It is so tough to get those tickets. Could take a few years before one is chosen! DD and I have applied but have never been picked.
