In Our Prime

I vote for snorkeling, it is relaxing and fun.
I think you will find parasailing scary, like the segway was!

AS soon as she mentioned the snorkeling and paralsailing, I, too, thought of the segway tour.

Glad DD is getting a bit of a break, too.
WE were contemplating the future of DS this weekend.
Probably time to start looking at colleges....
he has all next year yet for high school, but it goes fast

It really does go by so quickly! Is he considering going to college far from home?

He doesn't really know yet.
He is thinking of criminology for police work or FBI
or teaching

those are things he thinks he would like to do
He is pretty $$ savvy, so he will consider that too

Glad DD is getting a bit of a break, too.

::yes:: It really does go by fast!
He really needs to start thinking
Make sure to visit all the schools...even go multiple times!
I have seen so many kids be miserable with their college choice
and I would hate for that to happen to DS!

I really suggest going away for college!
As hard as it will be to have him away from home it will be wonderful for him!
Being on my own has really been great for me!

There are MANY colleges within a few hours of us, which is close but not too near to cramp his independence.

Your DS is the same age, isn't he, Sarah?
Is he doing any thinking of schooling yet?

He, too, will be staying home and traveling each day to school as DD does. Since last year, he has been calling colleges and sending for brochures.

I have seen the giftcard promo, you have to book regular price rooms to get it.
Disney is having a "give a day, get a day" volunteer promo this year , too.

Being an hour away is perfect for me!
I'm far away enough to live on campus
but it is very easy for me to come home when I need to.
Devon is 8 hours from home and it is hard for her at times.
