School nurse just called
DS's face is pink... I think it is the acne medicine combined with chlorine.

update (minutes later)
another call
nurse thinks I should take DS to the doctor today

so I just called to get an appt
they aren't in yet
but left a message with the service ....

so much for a few hours free
I imagine I am heading to pick him up and then the doc

When DS got home from school, I changed my diagnosis
it looks like broken blood vessels in his face

he was sick last night
said it felt like something was stuck in his throat
and he gagged until he cleared it

I think this caused the face issue

but we went to the doctor
who agreed with me
but sent us for blood work anyway, just to be sure

DS started to feel better
immediatelly
after learning he didn't have some fatal disease

he went back to school for swim practice

I have just fed seven girls
and now they are dressing to sled ride
which means the mess is just beginning!

Off to do laundry and clean up the kitchen
didn't get anything done this morning, figures!

She had the flu, which she passed on to Dad and I
I think that yesterday was one of the worst days of my life
I have never been so sick before!

I'm feeling a little better today
as long as I'm sitting down
if I stand too long I get light headed.

I'm really hoping I'm back to normal
by tomorrow!

DH and DS went to the Penguins game tonight!

The girls and I went shopping
they needed to get gifts for daddy and DS

we open our gifts to each other christmas eve before we go to church

Mom was sick Sunday and Monday, she started feeling better on Tuesday
Dad was only sick on Tuesday night.

I'm fine as long as I'm sitting down
I went to the store with Mom earlier and it was too much for me

Snow, hope you feel better. Flu is never fun, but especially not during holidays.

Glad you are feeling a little better, Snow. Take a nap, stay away from the stores!

DS is fine. I think he has learned a lesson about gagging, actually. He felt like something was in his throat when he was feeling ill, next time he will chew Tums.

Shopping went well last night, the girls got the boys a few practical things (I don't like to spend money just to spend money) DS needed new unbleached towels, the girls don't like when he borrows theirs, so they each picked him out a fluffy dark blue one (boy color, in case you didn't realize that) THeir towels are pink and turquoise.

I need to pick up a few last minute things today at the horrendously busy store (most likely) to use up my coupons that will expire...

DH is working a half day
and DS is already at his GF's for the day

we will go to candelight service tonight, always one of my favorite services.

We opened a few family gifts tonight
DH got me M&M's
such a sweet man!

He got peanut butter ones
and the peanut butter strawberry ones
and they are actually pretty good
we are eating them right now
with out cups' a' tea
