I am reporting live from the was40 homestead.
We are NOT at the swim meet.

We WERE up at 4 am with fever
thus decided we should just keep our germs at home.


THis was not met with much approval when the feverish woke up later.
They were quite indignant that they COULD STILL GO.

This parenting thing, it is usually a no win situation!

DD10 seems to be on the road to recovery
no more fever
voice returning

DD13 now has fever, cough, and is downright miserable to be anywhere near
I would say this child has flu, not strep (though her throat is sore)

DD10 and I are clorox wipin' every surface of the house.
It is great fun for her.
Recovery leads to boredom!

DH and DS wisely decided they should NOT stay and keep us company all day

they got tix to the Pitt game (University of Pittsburgh plays at Heinz field)

DH was wanting to buy season tix to the same
which I nixed,
we don't have time to be season ticket holders

well, to the movie store to return and get new time passing movies for the sickly
and to McD's drive thru
but other than that,
