My husband and I were walking through Canada this past trip and thought it looks like they have sized down. You know the kiosks look smaller, less workers, some were closed and what happened to those Beavertails..
A little info on the Beavertails:
"Well ... it's a wickedly delicious, fresh, hot, pastry treat shaped like the water slapping end of ... a Beaver!
Based on an ancient North American Voyageur recipe, these wildly delicious pastry treats were first introduced to Ottawa, Canada in 1978 by the Hooker family when they established the first permanent BeaverTails® store in Ottawa's historical Byward Market where it still thrives as a landmark today.
Now, over two decades later, BeaverTails® pastries have become a special part of 'leisure' experiences internationally. Thanks to the endearing quality of our products and to the dedication of our franchisees around the world, BeaverTails® are currently gobbled up at over 130 fun recreational and tourist sites worldwide from Whistler Mountain Resort in the northwest to Walt Disney World in the southeast of North America and in Costa Rica, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Scotland!"
It is a franchise, I guess the people doing the franchise were not getting a good return as they are long gone from WDW....
