In line for FP reservation, but wait is too long?

Looking at a few of these lines, what if we get in line say 5 minutes before our window closes, but do not make it to the scanner for another 20 minutes? Would there be a problem? I am thinking I could simply let them know when we got in line and it would be fine?

In the past, there was always a 15 minute window where they would allow you access. I assume if they know the lines are long it is OK. I'm not looking forward to seeing long FP lines this summer.

From reading the posts, even with long lines they have reported they move quickly. Good luck!
