In line for our Diagon Alley preview!!! So excited! According to the paper we got at check in Gringotts will be running today but not tomorrow.

Please report back! I am going in July 8-11 and would like to know about the ride, especially the drop. Thanks!

Ooooh....so exciting! We'll want a long trip report!!!!

We are about an hour out of PBH. Which hotel told you DA and Gringots is open today but not tomorrow.

Is this for everyone or just hotel.

Yea my OP was for package guest. They closed it once the softs started at 10 am. The ride was amazing! I can't believe how much we have gotten done and it's only 12:30!

Dinner there tomorrow night!

So far I have to say I love the new expansion! We entered this morning at 8am and went straight to Gringotts. Went on the ride twice. It was fantastic. The restraint system is very similar to The Mummy. The ride didn't break down at all this morning to our knowledge.

It did stop running once the general public was let in at 10am. After the ride we explored all of the shops in Diagon Alley. Went to our own private show at Ollivander's (just my partner and myself). We both got chosen for wands and got brother cores. Had some ice cream (Butterbeer and Apple Crumble) rode the HE to Hogsmeade and back to London. Went to lunch at The Leaky Cauldron and tried the Mini Pies and Bangers and mash with the peach tea drink and fizzy lemonade.

After lunch we rode Transformers (first time) very impressive and The Mummy (an old favorite). Then got a text out RPR room was ready and went to rest since the rain came in. We are having a blast!

Glad you are having such a great time!!

Is Gringotts fairly tame due to being more a family ride? Or is it Wow lol :) Hoping its quite intense.

We had to hang out at Mythos for the rain to stop. Then made it back to PBH just in time. Going to grab the umbrellas and sandals and hit the parks soon.

Hope to catch Gringotts in the next 4 days, if not we will be back in a few weeks.

I actually like it more then FJ I think (I'll say for sure once I re ride it later in my trip). It was quite intense and the line is better in some ways. You are stopped in the room with the story features and listen to what's happening. In FJ, if it's not crowded you just walk right through and miss element of the story.

The ride is very similar to Spider-Man of Transformers with a slight (less intense Mummy roller coaster element). It actually follows events of the books (mostly) and puts you in the story.

I am so glad that things are working out so well for you!

does it make you motion sickness like forbidden journey and also can it accommodate heavy people?

No heavy people. I think it's tighter than mummy.

Can't speak for MS as DW did not ride this morning just DS and I. But with that said she will not ride it by my experience.
