In Florida Where To Buy?

Hiya

Well two weeks today we are off and I am sorting my shopping list!

I am wanting some grolier disney ornaments but have never seen them in any shops, anybody got any idea which shops stock them?

Also looking for halloween decorations do you think they will be out in two weeks and where to get them from?

also one last thing wheres the best places to buy cross stitches?

Not quite sure where to buy the grolier ornaments but the Hallmark card shops have lots of disney ornaments.
If you want the Stoney Creek cross stitch they are available from any of the Art of Disney shops at dtd or within the parks. Walmart usually have a good selection of cross stitch or there is a big craft shop near the Sweet Red Tomatoes restaurant (or at least there used to be, not been for a few years)

I am not sure if this will help or hinder, there is definitely a shop in the Florida Mall that sells Disney ornaments, mainly Winnie The Pooh characters, they also sell a lot of glassware - in the front window they had the characters on the left and the glassware on the right, sorry I don't know the name of the store, but definitely passed it last weekend.

Last time we went was 10th sept there were halloween decos in most shops so you should be ok. 3 weeks today us so maybe see you around

It used to be that the Grolier ornaments weren't available in the shops. They were only available by mail. They would bring sets out and you would have to sign up to have one delivered a month. I don't know whether this is still the same, or not. You can get some of the Grolier ornaments on Ebay.

It won't be difficult to find Halloween decorations, they will be everywhere!

I always get my cross stitch from Michael's, they have a wide selection. I know that there is one near to WDW, but I'm not sure exactly where it is. I'm sure that someone will be able to give you the exact location.

There is also a cross stitch shop on the 192 in Kissimmee. I dont know the marker number, but it is on the right as you drive from John Young Parkway towards Disney, but befor the sr 535 (Seven Dwarves). It is in a "strip mall" of several shops, all painted in a horrible terracotta colour and with green roofs.

There are Michaels craft stores dotted around, which sell a good range of x stitch, plus the patterns, silks, aida fabric etc to make up your own kits.

Hi we were there last week and there was a shop on the 192 called Jo Ann right next to super target just after marker 11 that sold loads of halloween stuff & cross stiches quite a big shop full of art and craft stuff !
Pop into Super Target as well much better than wallmart in my opinion
